Sami Zayn implored Alpha Academy to renounce Chad Gable
Chad Gable def. Sami Zayn
With Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa unwilling to break rules to help him, Chad Gable sent them both to the back. As Gable continued to berate Dupri and Tozawa, Zayn took advantage to hit a Blue Thunder Bomb, but was unable to come up with the victory.
Gable locked on the Ankle Lock to try and get the submission victory but Zayn was able to make it to the ropes.
Screaming at Otis to help him, Otis was conflicted before deciding against helping his leader. Once again, Gable slapped Otis for his insubordination. With Otis irate, he clobbered Zayn behind the official’s back. Gable then took advantage with the Chaos Theory Suplex to win the match.
Bron Breakker def. Kale Dixon via referee stoppage
The Spears from Bron Breakker were unceasing, to the point where the referee had to award the match to Breakker.
After the match, Breakker kept up the assault, using the ring steps and a steel chair to further maim Dixon, sending Dixon straight to a local medical facility.
Lyra Valkyria def. IYO SKY in a Queen of the Ring Semifinal Match
With a date in destiny on the line, Lyra Valkyria and IYO SKY went to war for the right the be the Raw Superstar represented in the Queen of the Ring Final at King & Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia.
In an amazing piece of athleticism, Valkyria trapped SKY in a torturous submission hold. SKY was able to wrench herself out before locking on a crossface to try and submit Valkyria.
As Valkyria went for a tornado DDT, Valkyria appeared to injure her shoulder. SKY then zeroed in on the injury, kicking Valkyria’s shoulder before delivering a moonsault to the outside of the ring onto Valkyria.
After a huge sunset flip powerbomb from the top-rope, SKY went for the Over the Moonsault, but Valkyria was able to counter roll out of the way.
Valkyria then tried for Nightwing, but after some back-and-forth counters between Valkyria and SKY, Valkyria was able to gain the victory, catching SKY with a pinfall.
Awesome Truth def. The Judgment Day to retain the World Tag Team Titles
The Miz and R-Truth's defense of the World Tag Team Titles encountered a numbers problem early as “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio was ringside to help Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day win the titles back.
Awesome Truth dialed up the awesome with a double five knuckle shuffle, but Carlito made his way to ringside to assist Bálor and McDonagh.
Much to everyone’s surprise, Braun Strowman made his way to eliminate Carlito from the proceedings. Strowman then chased McDonagh into the ring where was met with an Attitude Adjustment from R-Truth to give Awesome Truth the retention win.
Liv Morgan vowed to defeat Becky Lynch at King & Queen of the Ring
Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark def. Damage CTRL, Katana Chance & Kayden Carter and Maxxine Dupri & Ivy Nile in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team No. 1 Contenders’ Match
Katana Chance and Kayden Carter took the advantage right away, with Carter throwing Chance to the outside of the ring, taking out everyone in the field.
Chance and Carter hit the After Party but Chance was not the legal competitor. In the fracas that ensued, it was was Damage CTRL who looked to have the upper hand.
It was Ivy Nile, however, who hit a huge tower of doom powerbomb before Dupri hit the reverse worm on Dakota Kai. Dupri then locked on an ankle lock before Kai was saved by an Insane Elbow from Sane.
After multiple back-and-forth's, it was Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark who hit a huge assisted knee smash to win the match.
Gunther def. Jey Uso via submission in a King of the Ring Semifinal Match
Jey Uso and Guther battled in a hard-fought melee to determine who would progress to the King of the Ring Final, with “Main Event” Jey bringing it to the Ring General early.
It didn’t take long, however, for Gunther to come roaring back, sending Uso into the timekeepers’ area.
Gunther kept up his attack on Uso, zeroing in on Uso’s injured arm, with multiple submission holds to try and get Uso to submit.
Uso was able to dig deep and hit a huge Samoan Drop from the top-rope to end Gunther’s vibe.
After going back-and-forth, Gunther hit a huge powerbomb but could not come up with the three count.
After Uso slapped Gunther, this reawakened The Ring General who hit Uso with multiple chops. This still did not put Uso away, Uso following up by hitting a huge Spear on Gunther before nailing the Uso Splash. Unfortunately for Jey, Uso’s Spear to Gunther also hit the referee, leaving the referee slow to administer the three count, allowing Gunther to breathe new life.
An enraged Gunther locked Uso into a modified Sleeper Hold, sending Uso to the dream world and sending Gunther to the King of the Ring Final. Are we looking at The King General Gunther?
