Storied rivals Tyler Bate and JD McDonagh squared off in a heated match for a future title opportunity as NXT Champion Bron Breakker watched on from the commentary table. The familiar foes traded counters and reversals at a frenzied pace as both Superstars looked to gain the upper hand.

The Irish Ace planted Bate with a uranage and a standing moonsault, but it was not enough to put away "The Big Strong Boi" as Bate blocked a Devil Inside attempt to slingshot McDonagh over the ropes and crashing to the arena floor. McDonagh trash talked Breakker, but took his eyes off Bate as he flung McDonagh across the ring with an exploder suplex before taking The Irish Ace for a dizzying ride on his shoulders.

McDonagh swung momentum back to his corner with a springboard moonsault to the arena floor followed swiftly by a 360 splash and a brainbuster for a nearfall. With chants of "fight forever" ringing throughout the arena, Bate climbed to the top rope looking for a massive Tyler Driver 97, but McDonagh tagged bate with a headbutt. McDonagh picked Bate up for a top rope Spanish Fly, quickly pulling Bate back off the mat for a Devil Inside to earn a hard-fought victory.

McDonagh's celebrations were short lived as Breakker stepped into the ring to stand toe-to-toe with his future opponent. Both Superstars were left stunned, however, as their stare down was interrupted by the entrance of former NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov as he stepped into the ring and stared down both McDonagh and Breakker as the show went off the air.
