Roxanne Perez def. Cora Jade, Indi Hartwell, Kiana James and Zoey Stark - Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge Match

Roxanne Perez looks to go the distance in Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge: NXT Deadline (WWE Network Exclusive)

After entering the match first, Roxanne Perez looks to become the winner of the first-ever Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline. Catch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more. #NXTDeadline

Roxanne Perez and Zoey Stark started the first-ever Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge match with both wrestlers looking to gain an early advantage in the grueling affair. Perez used her mat skills to attempt a pair of clever pinfalls, but the strength of Stark was on full display, thwarting any early would-be victories.

Cora Jade entered and before making her way into the ring, taunted a helpless and hurting Perez in the penalty box. As the action wore on, Perez went for her signature Pop Rox on James, but a kick from Jade and a subsequent roll-up gave Jade a victory, tying her with Stark at one.

As all four women battled in the ring, Indi Hartwell entered in the final spot and as the freshest woman in the match, she immediately took advantage of a slowed Perez and picked up a point thanks to a boot to the face. As all five women warred in and out of the ring, Perez managed to counter a Stark slam and rolled her up for her first pin in the match.

Five minutes remained in the match with Hartwell, Stark, Perez, and Jade all tied at one victory. Stark managed to level the competition with a high-flying crossbody off the top rope, but she couldn’t turn it into an advantage. Perez notched the decisive win by crushing a Pop Rox to Jade with less than two minutes remaining. The other four women scrambled to tie it in the waning moments, but couldn't score the decision they so desperately needed. Perez played defense for long enough until the clock hit 25:00 to clinch her spot as No. 1 Contender for the NXT Women’s Title.

Isla Dawn def. Alba Fyre

Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn rule the skies: NXT Deadline (WWE Network Exclusive)

Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn both take to the air in an intense rivalry match up at NXT Deadline. Catch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more. #NXTDeadline

Alba Fyre immediately went after Isla Dawn once the bell rang, looking for payback on the woman that cost her the NXT Women’s Championship at Halloween Havoc in the Last Woman Standing Match against Mandy Rose. Early on it was all Dawn, as she used every bit of the ring to incapacitate Fyre, highlighted by a double knee attack from the top rope.

Fyre fought back in a big way, unleashing an offensive on Dawn that included a Gory Bomb on the outside. Fyre hit a Swanton Bomb that seemed poised to deliver a victory, but a touch from Dawn appeared to bring a dark cloud over the official that possessed him to spit out a mysterious, dark liquid. Dawn used this to her advantage and threw Fyre into an exposed turnbuckle. Dawn then ended the match with a reverse headlock elbow drop, as her eyes rolled ominously into the back of her head.

The New Day def. Pretty Deadly - NXT Tag Team Title Match

The New Day and Pretty Deadly lie, cheat, and steal: NXT Deadline (WWE Network Exclusive)

Pretty Deadly’s plan to get The New Day disqualified backfired spectacularly during their NXT Tag Team Title showdown at NXT Deadline. Catch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more. #NXTDeadline

After crashing Pretty Deadly’s “Real Christmas Story” on Tuesday night, Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston took on Elton Prince & Kit Wilson for the NXT Tag Team Championships. The New Day immediately showed off their tag team prowess, using their speed and their teamwork to gain an early upperhand.

Pretty Deadly finally turned the tables thanks to a referee distraction by Prince that allowed Wilson to yank Kingston’s hair and snap him down to the mat. Pretty Deadly kept the fight in their own corner, but a resilient Kingston managed to tag in Woods and the former King of The Ring took out both Prince & Wilson.

The action broke down as all four men entered the ring, but Prince tried to force a disqualification, a tactic that The New Day countered with shenanigans of their own. Moments later, Kingston took out Wilson with a Trouble In Paradise on the outside, leaving The New Day an opportunity to hit UpUpDownDown on Prince, win the match, and become the new NXT Tag Team Champions. With the win Kingston held tag team championship gold for a record-breaking 15th time, as The New Day earned the distinction as Triple Crown Tag Team Champions.

Grayson Waller def. Axiom, Carmelo Hayes, JD McDonagh and Joe Gacy - Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge Match

Axiom gets penalty box payback on JD McDonagh: NXT Deadline (WWE Network Exclusive)

Axiom displays the possibilities of the Iron Survivor Challenge, as he’s locked inside the penalty box with his rival JD McDonagh. Catch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more. #NXTDeadline

Axiom and JD McDonagh were the first two competitors in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge and the two wasted no time in reigniting their rivalry. Just weeks after McDonagh injured Axiom’s leg, the high-flier showed no ill effects as his aerial assault effectively neutralized the technical wrestler.

Carmelo Hayes entered the match next and immediately established himself as a factor by quickly taking out both men. Hayes picked up the first pinfall of the match thanks to an incredible suplex that was turned into a cutter mid-air on McDonagh that landed on the chest of Axiom.

With all three men down in the ring, Grayson Waller entered the match and immediately hit both Axiom and McDonagh with rolling Stunners. He shockingly pinned both men which gave himself the lead just seconds after his arrival. Axiom and McDonagh were both locked in the penalty box at the same time and realizing this predicament, Axiom got his revenge on McDonagh as the two battled in the enclosed space. Just as Waller gained the upper hand, Axiom flew into the ring and rolled him up, picking up his first win. His second pinfall came just moments later after a Golden Ratio to McDonagh.

Joe Gacy entered the match last and with both Waller and McDonagh in the penalty box, he took advantage of a clearly fatigued Axiom, making him tap out. Gacy would earn his second victory shortly after thanks to a hellacious clothesline on Hayes.

Chaos continued in and out of the ring but Hayes and Waller found themselves in the middle of the ring where Hayes was able to latch on a submission, forcing Waller to quickly tap to save his energy. With four Superstars at two wins apiece and McDonagh did whatever he could to pick one up as he was still looking for his first score.

With just minutes left in the match, Gacy locked in submissions on Hayes, McDonagh and Axiom, but none of the men tapped out, keeping the score knotted at two. As Axiom laid hurt from Gacy’s submission attempt, Hayes hit him with a Nothing But Net, but Waller tossed Hayes out of the ring and with just 30 seconds left, picked up the winning fall. Waller evaded the rest of the competitors during the waning seconds and won the Iron Survivor Challenge making him the No. 1 contender for the NXT Championship.

Bron Breakker def. Apollo Crews - NXT Championship Match

Apollo Crews has the fire in his eyes against Bron Breakker: NXT Deadline (WWE Network Exclusive)

Apollo Crews reaches down deep in order to try and dethrone the NXT Champion, Bron Breakker. Catch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more. #NXTDeadline

The highly-anticipated NXT Championship showdown between Bron Breakker and Apollo Crews started with an intense staredown between the champion and challenger. Early on it became a test of strength for both men with Crews clutching in a headlock and bringing Breakker down to the ground. Crews continued his hot start as The Five Tool Player hit Breakker with a moonsault from the apron to the outside.

Breakker would then put together some offense, hitting Crews with a few key strikes before planting him with a delayed vertical suplex, standing moonsault, and capped it off with a flying Tope Con Hilo to the outside. As Breakker went for an attack from the middle rope, Crews countered it with a flying knee and that move seemed to change Crews’s demeanor as he became much more ruthless in the match.

Crews hit Breakker with an abundance of offense including three powerbombs and a frog splash, but none were enough to dethrone the champion. Breakker mounted a furious comeback, nailing Crews with shoulder tackles, a spinebuster, and a thunder clothesline off the top rope to the back of the head.

Crews went for one of his signature spinebusters, but Breakker countered and hit a devastating Spear to defeat Crews and retain his championship. As the champion basked in his win, Grayson Waller emerged and hit a rolling Stunner, sending a message that he’s got his eyes on a show-stopping title win.
