Julius couldn’t get anything going as the immensely powerful Indus Sher threw him around the ring with ease. But the Creeds wouldn’t go away quietly as Brutus mounted a comeback on behalf of his team, but a distraction by Jinder Mahal caused Julius to become distracted and accidentally knock Ivy Nile off the apron.

Indus Sher took advantage of the mayhem as a chokeslam from Sanga put away Julius Creed and gave the gigantic tag team the major victory.

Von Wagner and Mr. Stone took exception to Dijak calling himself the biggest and baddest Superstar in all of NXT, but hard justice came to him as it has for so many others.

Ahead of NXT North American Championship Match against Wes Lee at NXT Vengeance Day, Dijak sent a message to the champion by systematically brutalizing Wagner, despite Von’s own attempts at powerful offense.

A very game Wagner even managed to kick out of Dijak’s devastating sit-out chokeslam, but Dijak kept the pressure on and hit Feast Your Eyes to put Wagner away for good.

Two of NXT’s best mat technicians squared off as Drew Gulak battled Charlie Dempsey, but it was the veteran Gulak that proved that the young Dempsey still has a lot to learn.

Dempsey put up an impressive fight while showing off his second generation skills, including a suplex immediately followed by a submission attempt, but his fluid transitions were no match for Gulak who seemingly had a counter for everything.

As he was locked up in a submission, Gulak wisely launched Dempsey into Hank Walker who was at ringside, and used that distraction to roll up Dempsey and pick up the win.

Chase U wins The New Day Invitational

A high-stakes Tag Team Triple Threat Match saw Malik Blade & Edris Enofé, Duke Hudson & Andre Chase, and The Dyad battling it out with the winners heading to NXT Vengeance Day as the final team in the Fatal 4 Way Match for the NXT Tag Team Championships.

Hudson finally tagged in and cleaned house, but Blade tagged in and he and Enofé made their presence felt in the match. After the dust settled, Ava Raine tried to interfere in the match but Thea Hail neutralized her, allowing Hudson and Chase to hit the Fratliner which gave them the win and sent them to NXT Vengeance Day.
