Sol Ruca def. Izzi Dame to qualify for the NXT Women’s North American Title Match
The first entrant into the NXT Women’s North American Title Ladder Match at NXT Battleground was determined when Sol Ruca and Izzi Dame went toe-to-toe for the honor.
Ruca looked to use her aerial attack but took a hard fall to the outside before Dame chucked her onto the announce table.
Dame, even without former mentor Kiana James by her side, grounded the high-flying Ruca.
Just as Dame looked to be in control, Ruca hit the Soul Snatcher, booking her ticket to Las Vegas.
OTM def. Edris Enofé & Malik Blade
Searching for a win, Edris Enofé and Malik Blade took on Out the Mud.
Enofé and Blade soared through the sky, hitting tandem dives.
Jaida Parker, who was in the corner for OTM, grabbed Enofé’s foot. This sparked a wild brawl between Parker and Brinley Reece that had to be broken up by their respective teams.
Despite calming down, Parker and Reece once again got into it, leading to officials breaking them up.
It seemed the bad omens following Enofé and Blade continued as Enofé’s boots started to come apart. OTM capitalized to win the match.
Lash Legend def. Ivy Nile to qualify for the NXT Women’s North American Title Match
Returning to NXT, Raw Superstar Ivy Nile looked to earn a place in the NXT Women’s North American Title Match by defeating Lash Legend.
Legend had other ideas, however, even with the rumors brewing of a romance between her and NXT Champion Trick Williams.
To make matter worse for Legend, her Meta-Four teammate Noam Dar was found injured backstage just moments before NXT aired.
Luckily for Legend, Jakara Jackson distracted Nile to allow Legend to hit a big boot to win the match.
Je’Von Evans def. Oro Mensah
With Noam Dar out of action, Je’Von Evans had to pivot by taking on Meta-Four's Oro Mensah instead.
Evans blitzed Mensah with high-flying offense until Mensah slowed the pace.
Lash Legend, who was at ringside, attempted to retrieve a steel chair for Mensah but was stopped in her tracks by NXT Champion Trick Williams.
With Williams by his side, Evans garnered the biggest win of his career after he hit a corkscrew splash on Mensah.
Wes Lee, Ivar and Josh Briggs lined up for chance to face Oba Femi
The O.C. def. Ridge Holland & Riley Osborne
Looking to make more allies, Ridge Holland teamed up with Chase U’s Riley Osborne to contend with The O.C.
As Holland looked for the Alabama Slam, Osborne mistimed his dropkick, hitting Holland in the stomach.
This miscommunication allowed Karl Anderson to roll up Holland for the win.
Lola Vice def. Carlee Bright
Carlee Bright made her impressive NXT debut as she took on Lola Vice.
Vice looked as if she wasn’t taking Bright seriously, allowing Bright to surprise Vice with incredible offense.
Just as Bright got into a groove, Vice struck with a back fist to seal the win.
After the match, Natalya and Karmen Petrovic engaged in a frenetic brawl with Vice and Shayna Baszler.
Tony D’Angelo def. Charlie Dempsey to win the NXT Heritage Cup
Tony D’Angelo is your new NXT Heritage Cup Champion.

Right at the end of the second round, Dempsey locked in an armbar, but D’Angelo was able to hold on until the bell rang.
With the third round nearing its end, Dempsey hit a huge bridging German suplex to even the score.
D’Angelo looked to win the cup in the fourth round but was unable to get a three-count before the bell.
