Sasha Banks opted to battle Carmella in SmackDown Women’s Title Match on SmackDown
Instead of coming to the ring tonight to sign the contract for a SmackDown Women’s Championship Match at WWE TLC against Sasha Banks, Carmella “borrowed” the document and had the signed version delivered to the ring via a sommelier. This only served to further aggravate The Boss, and she decided to flip the script and make the executive decision to face Mella for the title in the main event of SmackDown in order to get her hands on the self-proclaimed “untouchable” Carmella.

To add an exclamation point, Banks then gave Carmella a preview of what was to come by attacking her sommelier, hitting him with a Backstabber and throwing the table on top of him.

After Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode scored a non-title victory over SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Street Profits, Montez Ford went one-on-one with The Showoff.

Although The Street Profits made it rain solo cups mid-match, Ford fell short of a singles victory. Robert Roode took out Angelo Dawkins. This distracted Ford long enough for Ziggler to hit the superkick and pick up the huge victory over one-half of the SmackDown Tag Team Champions.

After weeks of growing tension, the self-professed “Master Strategist” battles “The Powerhouse of Positivity” Big E in a non-title showdown. Catch WWE action on WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more.

Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn def. Big E by Count-out
After weeks of growing tension and Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn completely irate over the absence of a Zayn shirt to market to his people, the self-professed “Master Strategist” battled "The Powerhouse of Positivity" Big E in a non-title showdown.

In the final moments, Zayn angered Big E with a slap in order to insight a chase. The pursuit eventually went under the ring as the official began to count both Superstars out. Before he reached 10, Zayn climbed out from under the ring and escaped Big E's grasp, jumping back into the squared circle and picking up the win by count-out.

Kevin Owens punished Jey Uso; Roman Reigns unleashed a vicious assault on KO
After the jaw-dropping chair assault he received last week at the hands of Universal Champion Roman Reigns, a determined Kevin Owens journeyed to the ring and loaded it with his “friends,” tables, ladders and chairs. With them at his side, he reaffirmed that he did not fear The Big Dog and that he planned to take his Universal Championship at WWE TLC.

Out of nowhere, Jey Uso attacked Owens from behind with a chair, and KO seemed to suffer a serious knee injury in the process. Nevertheless, Owens roared back and powerbombed Jey through the table. Reigns then emerged, but he opted not to engage his adversary on his terms.

But when KO pursued Roman Reigns to the backstage area, The Big Dog unleashed a vicious attack from behind before sending a haunting message to Owens' family.

After The Riott Squad had a look at Billie Kay’s headshot and resume last week on Talking Smack, Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott challenged Billie Kay’s skills in a match this week, prompting Kay to choose The BOAT as a partner.

However, Kay’s plans for success hit a bump in the road. For when The Queen of Hart was taken out, Kay was left at a 2-on-1 disadvantage that cost her the match.

After Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura poked fun at Chad Gable, Otis teamed with his new training companion for the first time to show the former SmackDown Tag Team Champions that they are no joke. But just when Otis looked ready to close the door on Cesaro with the Caterpillar, Gable asked to be tagged in.

That proved a mistake as Cesaro regrouped to catch Gable off the top rope with the Cesaro Swing. The Artist then finished him off with the Kinshasa and picked up the pin.

Sasha Banks vs. Carmella - SmackDown Women’s Title Match: SmackDown, Dec. 11, 2020

The Boss makes an executive decision to defend her title before WWE TLC just to get her hands on the self-proclaimed “untouchable” Carmella. Catch WWE action on WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more.

Carmella def. SmackDown Women’s Title Match Sasha Banks by Disqualification
Angry over Carmella’s continued mind games in relation to the contract signing for their match at WWE TLC earlier in the night, SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks opted to face Mella in SmackDown’s main event in order to get her hands on the self-proclaimed untouchable challenger.

But when Carmella’s sommelier decided to get involved, Sasha snapped and got herself disqualified as she went after her challenger with a new level of aggression.

After the bell, Sasha locked the sommelier in the Bank Statement. But Carmella used this distraction to regain the advantage and unleash a brutal assault that culminated in her smashing a bottle of champagne on the back of The Boss! Then, taking a drink herself, she dumped champagne on Banks to add insult to injury.
