An inconvenient truth
Last week’s Total Divas was all about the ladies not so much trying to change their personalities as coming to terms with their own inconvenient truths. This week is a different story: Everybody’s trying really hard to win an uphill battle, and the only acceptable solution — the only solution at all, really — is to surrender.
Natalya plans a barbeque that goes off the rails when Lana gets involved, leading Titus O’Neil to help save the day and allow Natalya to come to terms with the fact that she’s a great host, though maybe not much of a cook. Brie Bella is turning the page on a particularly precious bit of motherhood now that Birdie Joe is weaning and transitioning to formula for her food. And Paige, who is trying to keep her personal life to herself, is forced to reveal her hitherto secret boyfriend when Nia Jax tries (and tries, and tries and tries) to set Paige up with her brother. Honesty — in love, motherhood and especially barbeque — is always the best policy.
