Oro Mensah def. Tavion Heights

In NXT Level Up’s electrifying opener, Oro Mensah took to the skies early and often to outlast Tavion Heights and earn a critical victory.

Mensah had his work cut out for him in the early goings, as Heights used his incredible ring acumen and amateur background to his advantage, consistently grounding and out-grappling his foe and eventually landing a textbook German release suplex.

Once Mensah got out of first gear, however, he staggered Heights with a nasty spinning heel kick and quickly followed up with a jumping kick to the face from the top rope.

Javier Bernal def. Boa

From the moment he stepped through the curtains until the final bell, Javier Bernal was running his mouth to anyone who would listen.

His opponent, the menacing Boa, isn’t the talkative type and seemed to have no interest in returning the trash talk, opting instead to do his talking with several punishing kicks and a wicked reverse elbow to the jaw.

Big Body Javi, who has gained a well-deserved reputation for ignoring the rules, targeted Boa’s recently injured leg with several precise kicks and stomps and stole the win by yanking him by the tights and taking him down with a leaping flatliner.

Yulisa Leon & Valentina Feroz def. Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson

Seemingly still riding high after recently making their SmackDown debuts, Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz were fired up for their main event tilt against Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, who recently formed a dangerous new tandem.

Case in point, after Feroz was disrespected via a shove from Jackson at the opening bell, she quickly responded by hurling her opponent around the ring and tagging in Leon, who launched Feroz on top of Jackson.

Boasting a size and strength advantage, Legend and Jackson came within an eyelash of a win when they isolated and pulverized Feroz, but Leon hit the ring like she was fired out of a cannon upon receiving the tag and leveled Jackson and Legend. Moments later, Leon lifted Jackson into a suplex position, Feroz wiped her out with a crossbody from the top rope, and Leon scored the three-count.
