Dante Chen def. Tavion Heights

The Gatekeeper of NXT lived up to his moniker during an edge-of-your-seat battle with former Olympian Tavion Heights.

Chen enjoyed a sizeable experience advantage over the newcomer, which was on display when he out-grappled his foe in the early goings and again when he deftly countered a back suplex.

Seeking the biggest win of his young career, Heights landed a unique suplex for a two-count, but Chen recovered by hitting a nasty pump kick and scored the win with a vicious double-arm strike to the chest.

Wendy Choo def. Kelani Jordan

You’d be forgiven for not realizing this was the first WWE appearance for Kelani Jordan, who conducted herself with the poise of a seasoned veteran, smiling, bounding and flexing her way to the ring prior to her debut match against Wendy Choo.

She was equally impressive after the opening bell, effortlessly tumbling around the ring to escape Choo’s clutches and taking her down with a side headlock. Moments later, Jordan dug deep to kick out after absorbing a handspring elbow to the jaw and a picture-perfect snap suplex.

Jordan almost scored the win with an inside cradle, but Choo soon landed a wicked boot to the jaw and secured the three-count by landing the Snooze Button. Following the match, Choo helped Jordan back to her feet, shook her hand and her arm.

Edris Enofé & Malik Blade def. Bronco Nima & Lucien Price

In a main event collision with Bronco Nima and Lucien Price, Edris Enofé and Malik Blade carried themselves with all the confidence that you would expect from a tandem that had won its last 11 matches on WWE’s newest brand.

Win No. 12 was arguably their toughest, however, as the colossal duo of Nima and Price landed several menacing blows to the two highflyers, particularly when they isolated Enofé in their corner and took turns punishing him with unforgiving fists.

Enofé survived the onslaught and made a timely diving tag to Blade, who used a slingshot plancha to wipe out his opponents at ringside. Moments later, Enofé tagged back in and landed the Edris Elbow on Price for the win.
