Tyler Bate def. Luca Crusifino
Sporting a pink tie, business vest and button-down shirt with no sleeves, Luca Crusifino made one of the more unique entrances in recent history, handing out his business cards to the NXT Universe before doing the same to Tyler Bate at the opening bell.
A former Triple Crown winner in NXT UK, The Big Strong Boi was nice enough to take it all in stride and pocket the business card, but he was ready to go from the onset, out-grappling his less experienced foe in the early goings.
Crusifino took great exception when Bate later tore the business card in half, dropping him with a nasty backbreaker and unloading with stomps. Bate, however, fired back with a diving uppercut, a nausea-inducing airplane spin and the Tyler Driver ‘97 for the three-count.
Ivy Nile def. Lola Vice via Submission
Just another day at the office for Ivy Nile, who remained undefeated on WWE’s newest brand by tapping out Lola Vice.
Vice proved, however, that she had a mean streak that could rival Nile’s when she landed a nasty knee to the midsection and briefly caught Nile in an excruciating modified crossface.
The Pitbull of Diamond Mine was a ball of fire after escaping, landing several menacing strikes before cranking back on a Dragon Sleeper to force the tap out.
The Dyad def. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger
Having clearly bought in to Joe Gacy’s message, The Dyad put on a clinic in NXT Level Up’s main event against Hank Walker and Tank Ledger, using a methodical pace to stay on the attack for most of the match.
Their fun-loving, hard-hitting foes turned in an impressive effort, particularly when Walker flattened Jagger Reid with a ring-rattling shoulder block and when Ledger blasted Reid and Rip Fowler with a double fallaway slam.
However, The Dyad laid out Walker at ringside and quickly dropped Ledger with a decisive double facebreaker.
