Sasha Banks & Bayley made history at WWE Elimination Chamber to become the first-ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, so it’s only fitting that their reign set a new precedent. As The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection revealed on Raw 24 hours after capturing the titles, they will defend their championships against any challenger, current or veteran, across Raw, SmackDown LIVE and NXT.

If the moments after their announcement were any indication, their first challenge might come from their backyard in fellow Raw Superstars Nia Jax & Tamina. Beyond that, however, the possibilities are endless: A battle of past and present against The Bella Twins, a rematch with WWE Elimination Chamber co-finalists Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville across the aisle on Team Blue, and even a Horsewomen vs. Horsewomen clash with NXT’s Marina Shafir & Jessamyn Duke are all on the table. And that’s just to name a few. It’s a brave new world, indeed.
