Ivy Nile & Tatum Paxley def. Sloane Jacobs & Erica Yan
Seeking their first win as a tandem, Sloane Jacobs and Erica Yan targeted one of the most dangerous duos in WWE: Diamond Mine’s Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley.
Nile, who has routinely crushed her opponents and is undefeated in singles competition in North America, is very gradually beginning to trust and respect her partner, as evidenced by an eye-opening sequence that saw her tag Paxley into the match and allow her partner to sling-shot her into Sloane Jacobs for a nasty clothesline.
The Pitbull of Diamond Mine hit the ring like a ball of fire after receiving a diving tag from Paxley, blitzing her opponents with several menacing strikes. Moments later, Paxley tagged back in and climbed the ropes, and Nile launched her into a twisting moonsault that allowed Paxley to pin Jacobs.
Duke Hudson def. Bronco Nima
Duke Hudson has completely taken over NXT Level Up.
Entering tonight’s bout at 3-0 after previously defeating Myles Borne, Hank Walker and Javier Bernal, the arrogant competitor went toe-to-toe with his equally monstrous opponent, Bronco Nima.
Seeking his first win in WWE, Nima impressed by knocking Hudson into the corner with several vicious strikes and shaking the ring with a scoop slam, but Hudson defeated his former elementary school classmate by hurling him through the air with an overhead suplex before following up with a boot to the chest for the three-count.
Indi Hartwell def. Amari Miller
Indi Hartwell looked right at home in her first venture to NXT Level Up, even against the ever-enthusiastic Amari Miller, one of the most popular and successful Superstars in the young history of WWE’s newest brand.
With the NXT Arena chanting for each Superstar and seemingly split right down the middle, Hartwell landed the first big blow by hurling Miller throat-first into the middle rope
Miller caught fire with several reverse elbows, a leg sweep and a dropkick to the face, but Hartwell immediately countered by ducking a spinning heel kick and planting Miller with the decisive spinebuster.
