Mansoor def. The Brian Kendrick

Much to the delight of one Superstar and the dismay of the other, the final bell of 205 Live’s opening match signaled the extension of a pair of streaks, as Mansoor improved to 6-0 while The Brian Kendrick suffered his third consecutive defeat.

After absorbing a series of kicks to the head and some trash talk from Kendrick, Mansoor fired back with a jumping clothesline, and an inverted atomic drop into a spinebuster, and three consecutive suplexes to a dazed Kendrick, who narrowly kicked out.

Kendrick used a hurricanrana to fling Mansoor into the turnbuckles and followed up with a butterfly suplex from the top rope, though Mansoor somehow reversed the pinning combination to score the victory!

A seemingly dumfounded Kendrick nevertheless initiated a post-match handshake and raised Mansoor’s arm before exiting.

The Bollywood Boyz returned to 205 Live

Prior to the start of 205 Live’s main event, a familiar tune blasted through the Capitol Wrestling Center, and The Bollywood Boyz danced their way down the ramp, around ringside and finally into the squared circle. And they wasted no time showing that they’re still the same arrogant Superstars they’ve always been.

Samir & Sunil grabbed a pair of mics and vowed to bring “the personality, the charisma and the greatest tag team in 205 Live history” back to the purple brand before dancing all the way back through the curtains.

Tony Nese def. Curt Stallion

On his way to the squared circle for 205 Live’s main event, Tony Nese declared that Curt Stallion “doesn’t belong in my ring or on my show” due to his lack of an eight-pack of abs.

The Premier Athlete was in store for a bigger fight than he bargained for.

Prior to the opening bell, Ariya Daivari, who lost to Stallion via disqualification last week when Nese interfered, strutted to the ring. Stallion was distracted by Daivari, which allowed Nese to clobber him from behind and gain the early upper hand, but Stallion quickly got back in the fight with a back suplex, a forearm and a modified neckbreaker in rapid succession.

With Nese slumped against the bottom turnbuckle, Stallion leapt halfway across the ring to catch The Premier Athlete with a dropkick and took him down with a DDT. And when Nese rolled out of the ring, Stallion adjusted on the fly and wiped out his opponent with a moonsault to the outside.

Stallion exchanged words with Daivari, who was on commentary, and dropped The Persian Lion with a savage headbutt. When Stallion returned to the ring, however, Nese was waiting, and the former Cruiserweight Champion tattooed the 205 Live newcomer with Running Nese to pick up the 1-2-3.

Daivari attempted to attack the injured Stallion after the match, but Nese held him back and told him that Stallion “doesn’t even belong here.”
