AJ Styles def. Finn Bálor
AJ Styles and Finn Bálor settled their personal score at Survivor Series with Bálor gaining the early upper hand with his quick-strike offense. With both The Judgment Day and The O.C. patrolling ringside, Bálor maintained his control but only until Styles trapped Bálor’s leg on the ropes and injured it.
With both men battling inside the ring, tensions boiled over on the outside as Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson began to brawl with Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio, causing all four men to exit ringside and fight to the backstage area.
Styles and Bálor continued to combat each other, with Bálor hitting Styles’ own neckbreaker and Styles leveling his opponent with a twist elbow from a reverse DDT position. After Styles avoided the Coup de Grace, The Phenomenal One applied the Calf Crusher and nearly forced Bálor to tap out, but Bálor countered by repeatedly slamming Styles’ head into the mat.
The two men traded blows until Styles nailed Bálor with a step-up enzuigiri that staggered him, allowing Styles enough time to hit the Phenomenal Forearm, which was enough to earn the victory.
