NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca vs. Kelani Jordan
Sol Ruca dazzled once again as NXT Women’s North American Champion and defeated her rival Kelani Jordan in another incredible match.
With Zaria watching at ringside backing up Ruca, the two Superstars traded remarkably athletic moves and shared a moment of respect before locking up again.
The new attitude of Jordan paid off as she grounded the high-flying Ruca and targeted the champion’s knee, increasing the concern of Zaria on the outside.
Both Superstars looked for the winning blow, as Ruca hit an Avalanche X-Factor but Jordan’s attempt at an Avalanche Poison-Rana went awry as Ruca countered it and hit a Spear.
Jordan managed to line up Ruca for the Split-Legged Moonsault but Zaria pulled her out of harm’s way, forcing the official to eject her.
Now alone, the champion dug deep and hit a remarkable Super Sol Snatcher to win the match.
NXT Tag Team Champions Hank & Tank and Josh Briggs def. The Culling - Six Man Tag Team Match
NXT Tag Team Champions Hank Walker & Tank Ledger joined forces with Josh Briggs, but it was a returning Superstar that buoyed the trio to victory.
Hank & Tank and Briggs looked great early after a huge triple dive to the outside, but Niko Vance muscled the momentum to his team in impressive fashion, allowing Spears to keep Walker on the mat.
The two teams traded devastating attacks, with Izzi Dame surveying the carnage at ringside and trying to help her team any way she could.
It was to no avail as Hank & Tank sized up Jensen for their signature offense and it got them the win.
After the match, The Culling attacked the winners, but Yoshiki Inamura returned to NXT and evened the odds with a Steel Chair in front of a raucous crowd.
Stacks def. Tony D’Angelo
It was more than a match, it was about family.
The former friends and allies stared each other down to begin the match and the tension was broken by a cheek-ripping slap from The Don.
That led to an all out brawl between the two Superstars as they fought all around the ring with Tony D. taking an early advantage due to his strength.
Stacks managed to kick D’Angelo into the steel steps, compromising The Don’s ribs, and The Underboss nearly won the match due to it.
As D’Angelo regained control and pummeled his former Underboss, he became emotional and couldn’t continue the beatdown, causing Stacks to call him weak.
The match continued until “The Consigliere” Luca Crusifino returned, but his presence caused a distraction that allowed Stacks to hit a low blow and defeat The Don.
NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer def. Jordynne Grace
Stephanie Vaquer calls herself "La Primera" and she keeps backing up, this time by conquering Jordynne Grace to retain the NXT Women’s Title.
The champion and challenger were evenly matched as several counters proved that neither Superstar could catch the other off guard.
The champion started to roll as she countered a Vader Bomb and proceeded to hit her signature Devil’s Kiss, but she couldn’t muscle up Grace for an SVB.
The Juggernaut fired up in a huge way, hitting a Double Underhook Sit-Out Powerbomb, signifying that she was ready to throw whatever at Vaquer to dethrone her.
Grace and Vaquer continued to trade shots, but it was the champion who made a statement by tossing the challenger through the barricade on the outside.
Somehow, The Juggernaut kicked out of the ensuing SVB, but she found a way to hit Spiral Tap to retain her title.
NXT Champion Oba Femi def. Myles Borne
Destiny came to Tampa, Fla., and it came in the form of NXT Champion Oba Femi.
The challenger quickly earned the respect of Femi as he countered several of the champion’s massive power moves, and that’s when The Ruler locked in.
He started to thrash Borne, but the defiant No Quarter Catch Crew Superstar continued to fight and somehow found the strength to hit a huge dive to the outside and a Randy Orton-esque Powerslam.
Femi squared up his opponent and hit a ring-rattling Fall From Grace, but Borne somehow kicked out, igniting the NXT Universe to rally behind the underdog even more.
However, it wasn’t Borne’s night as The Ruler hit a second and third Fall From Grace to retain his title.
Trick Williams def. Joe Hendry to win the TNA World Championship
History was made as Trick Williams stunned Joe Hendry to become the first-ever active WWE Superstar to win the TNA World Championship.
The deafening Tampa crowd was on their feet cheering before the two even locked up, setting the tone for the incredible, historic match.
Williams mocked the champion at every opportunity, even hitting a Booker T-inspired Spinaroonie before getting hit with a huge Book End.
Hendry nearly had the match won with a Standing Ovation, but Trick used his long legs to latch onto the bottom rope to break the count.
Williams snapped back into action and slammed the champion through the announce table, attempting to hit Hendry with the title.
The official stopped the attack, but Williams slammed Hendry onto the title before hitting a Trick Shot to win the match and make history.
