Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo def. Tank Ledger

Winning in your WWE debut is no easy task, but that’s exactly what Tank Ledger did when he teamed with Ikemen Jiro to take down Bryson Montana and Duke Hudson in impressive fashion two weeks ago, and he stepped onto the NXT Level Up stage looking to replicate his success in singles competition.

With his boss Tony D’Angelo sporting a crutch, talking a mile a minute at the commentary desk and antagonizing Ledger, “Stacks” received a surprise when his opponent absorbed several strikes and hammered him with a thunderous running crossbody and a standing splash.

“Stacks,” however, soon fired back with a nasty reverse elbow, a boot to the jaw and an elbow drop to the throat for the three-count.

Thea Hail def. Jakara Jackson

It isn’t often that Thea Hail has a significant experience advantage against her opponent, but that was indeed the case when the star pupil of Chase University clashed with confident newcomer Jakara Jackson, who was making her WWE debut.

Sporting orange hair and yellow glasses, Jackson strode to the ring with the confidence of a seasoned veteran and even claimed the upper hand by lifting Hail into the air and slamming her face-first into the mat.

Despite the onslaught, the former five-sport high school athlete received a teachable moment in her inaugural match when Hail connected with a vicious neckbreaker and drove her face into the canvas to seal the victory. Duke Hudson, who was curiously waving a Chase University flag in the entranceway during the match, joined Hail and Andre Chase in the ring for the celebration, though both seemed surprised and at least a little suspicious of their supposed new ally.

Brooks Jensen def. Trick Williams

Though he was unable to help his confidant Carmelo Hayes regain the NXT North American Championship in an unforgettable Ladder Match, Trick Williams was nevertheless beaming with arrogance from the second he approached the ring for his collision with Brooks Jensen.

Never afraid to resort to questionable tactics, Williams claimed the upper hand after the fight spilled to ringside, trapping his foe in the ring apron and raining down stomps.

Jensen nevertheless shook off tremendous punishment from his aggressive opponent and clocked him with a match-clinching famouser.
