At the Greatest Royal Rumble event, Sheamus & Cesaro will look to battle through the multiverse in order to regain the Raw Tag Team Championship when they go head-to-head against the outrageous team of “Woken” Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt.
This match of destiny comes as the result of two unbelievable WrestleMania moments that the WWE Universe is struggling to get their heads around. First, The Eater of Worlds shocked everybody when he helped his bitter adversary win the Ander the Giant Memorial Battle Royal during WrestleMania Kickoff. Then, Braun Strowman turned The Show of Shows upside-down when he selected a 10-year-old named Nicholas from the audience to help him overcome The Bar and capture the Raw Tag Team Championship.
The following night on Raw, however, The Monster Among Men announced that he and his pint-sized teammate were relinquishing their newly captured titles due to Nicholas’ fourth grade scheduling conflicts. This opened the door for the coalition of Wyatt & Hardy to triumph in General Manager Kurt Angle’s impromptu Tag Team Eliminator for the right to face Cesaro & Sheamus for the vacant titles in Saudi Arabia.
Sheamus & Cesaro have made it clear that they are the top tag team on Monday Night Raw, as the duo’s ability to gel like few other tandems allowed them to dominate in 2017. Will they be ready for such an unorthodox brand of opposition? Or will they simply be “deleted?!”
Find out when the Greatest Royal Rumble event airs, today at 7 p.m. AST. The event streams live on the award-winning WWE Network with a tune-in time of 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT, and with a special, one-hour Greatest Royal Rumble Kickoff starting at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT. It will be available on pay-per-view outside of the Middle East with regional broadcast information forthcoming.
