Kali Armstrong def. Lizzy Rain

Lizzy Rain and Kali Armstrong fought in a hotly contested battle to kick off NXT.

Rain hit a huge dive to the outside but Armstrong was able to fight back, hitting a superb powerslam to gain back control.

Armstrong hit a picture-perfect spinebuster but Rain shocked Armstrong by kicking out.

Rain countered a spinebuster by hitting a cutter but it was Armstrong to shock Rain this time, kicking out of the move.

Rain went for a Thunderstruck but Armstrong evaded the move, before nailing the Kali Connection to win the match.

After the match, Skylar Rae entered the ring, attacking Armstrong.

DarkState def. Sean Legacy & Dorian Van Dux

Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux joined forces to battle Osiris Griffin and Cutler James of DarkState.

Legacy and DVD ran rampant on DarkState, hitting high-impact dives to subdue Griffin and James.

DVD hit a double moonsault on DarkState before Legacy hit multiple dives to the outside on Griffin and James.

Just as DVD and Legacy were rolling, Dion Lennox arrived to strike DVD behind the referee's back, allowing DarkState to hit the powerbomb to win the match.

Montana lit up Smokes with smoking hot chops to the chest.

Montana countered Smokes with a debilitating samoan drop that left Smokes out of breath.

Smokes hit a slingshot spear on Prosper but Prosper kicked out.

Montana and Prosper combined for an electric assisted hurricanrana from the top rope onto Smokes before each hit a dive to the floor.

NXT North American Champion Jackson Drake clobbered Montana with a big boot at ringside, forcing the official to eject Drake.

With the referee's back turned, Smokes pinned Prosper while Baylor held Prosper's legs, getting the controversial victory.

D'Angelo hit a scintillating German Suplex on Rook as Rook German Suplexed Shugars, sending Shugars flying across the ring.

D'Angelo hit an impressive modified Jackhammer on Rook before D'Angelo sent Shugars flying into a Rook powerbomb that left the WWE Universe in awe.

Shugars hit an awesome Vader bomb on D'Angelo but Tristan Angels pulled the referee out of the ring, preventing Shugars from what could have been a victory.

D'Angelo tried lifting Rook but D'Angelo's back gave out, allowing Rook to take advantage, hitting a super splash to get the win.
