The IIconics to defend WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships in Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match on Raw
The IIconics have lasted four months as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions due to a clever mix of technicalities and inaction, with a down-the-middle title retention or two thrown in. But as confirmed by Charly Caruso in a pre-Raw breaking news item, the Australians’ bag of tricks will be put to its biggest test when they defend their titles in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match. Contending for the titles will be three teams that have all gotten close to becoming champions: Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross, Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville, and The Kabuki Warriors. Safe to say Peyton Royce & Billie Kay have their work cut out for them, and while defeat is not necessarily guaranteed — they’ve certainly proven harder to unseat as champions than their detractors would have you think — we may look back on tonight as the night their luck finally ran out.
