NXT Halloween Havoc 2026 preview: Grayson Waller defends the NXT Championship against Tony D'Angelo

The NXT Championship will be on the line when Grayson Waller defends his title against the same Superstar he dethroned, Tony D’Angelo.

Waller won the NXT Title at Heatwave by pinning D’Angelo after Cruz Montana hit Spun The Block.

D’Angelo has been determined to get his one-on-one rematch, and he earned the championship opportunity by beating Myles Borne on the Oct. 13 episode of WWE NXT.

Will Waller stave off the stiff test, or will D’Angelo become a two-time NXT Champion?

Kelani Jordan will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Wren Sinclair at Halloween Havoc.

Sinclair was suspended from NXT after striking an official in her attempt to attack the champion, but that didn’t deter her.

Disguised as AAA’s Lady Shani, Sinclair won the 20-Woman Battle Royal to become the No. 1 Contender in an incredible ploy, but it was met with sharp pushback from Jordan.

Despite her objections, NXT General Manager Robert Stone reinstated Sinclair and confirmed her status as No. 1 Contender, setting the stage for an incredible Title Match.
