WWE Tag Team Champions R-Truth & Kofi Kingston def. Hunico & Camacho

WWE Tag Team Champions R-Truth & Kofi Kingston def. Hunico & Camacho

PHOENIX – WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston & R-Truth looked as strong as ever in the Money in the Bank live-stream Pre-Show match, fending off Hunico & Camacho in a non-title tag contest to kick off the proceedings for the Money in the Bank pay-per-view later in the evening. ( PHOTOS)

Hunico & Camacho rolled in boasting, proclaiming to be “the future of WWE,” and immediately evoked the ire of the champions when Hunico mounted a vicious attack against Little Jimmy himself. Truth responded viciously, pouncing on the arrogant brawler from the barrio and showing no signs of ring rust as he continued his comeback after an attack at the hands of Big Show last month.

Kofi was next to enter the fray, mounting a dizzying attack against Hunico that included a textbook hurricanrana off the ropes. Hunico managed to fend off Truth and then tagged out, giving Camacho a chance to prove his mettle in the ring.

Hunico’s brawny buddy did his best, delivering a beatdown to Truth in the corner before Hunico re-entered the match with a senton off the apron to a prone Truth. Kofi seemed to have the match in hand when he unleashed yet another high-flying flurry, but Hunico managed to dodge Trouble in Paradise and Camacho tripped up Kofi, leaving an opening for Camacho to tag back into the match and beat on the champion while he was down.

The match came down to Hunico and Kingston, and after nearly losing the match to a rollup-powerbomb combo of Hunico’s own invention, Truth and Camacho re-joined the fray as it descended into chaos in its final moments. Interference from Hunico led Truth to toss Hunico headlong into Trouble in Paradise. Truth’s Lie Detector to Camacho secured a victory for the champions and put an end to the wild match.
