Drew McIntyre provides injury update
Drew McIntyre ended up on the losing side of a grueling NXT Championship Match against Andrade “Cien” Almas at TakeOver: WarGames and looked to be facing some time on the sidelines with an injury.
During Triple H’s exclusive post-NXT TakeOver: WarGames Facebook LIVE interview, WWE’s COO mentioned that McIntyre might have a torn bicep. Triple H also said that the now former NXT Champion was going to get an MRI to see if he did indeed suffer a torn bicep, which could result in surgery.
Update: Drew McIntyre updated the NXT Universe on Twitter with the latest on his injury status. The former NXT Champion confirmed that he did indeed suffer an injury at TakeOver: WarGames. McIntyre, however, did promise to come back better than ever.
