Tonight’s look back at the brightest moments of 2017 includes not just highlights from NXT on WWE Network, but also, for the first time, footage of one of the biggest matches in NXT Live Event history: Drew McIntyre vs. Adam Cole.
The two rivals battled at NXT Live in San Antonio in November, just one night before McIntyre lost the NXT Title to Andrade “Cien” Almas. Making the occasion all the more historic was WWE Hall of Famer (and San Antonio native) Shawn Michaels’ role as the bout’s special guest referee.
