Edge def. Seth Rollins in a Hell in a Cell Match

Edge def. Seth Rollins in a Hell in a Cell Match

Seth Rollins and Edge culminated their intense rivalry in a brutal Hell in a Cell showdown in which Edge survived more than won.

The Rated-R Superstar took it right to Rollins at the onset, dodging an attempted dive through the ropes to send Rollins flying into the cage. Edge then began to brutalize Rollins, throwing him into the stairs and grabbing a chair rung to lock in the crossface.

Rollins managed to block the hold with an elbow to the jaw, paying Edge back with his own slams into the cage and punishing him with multiple chair shots. Rollins even looked for the Con-Chair-To, but Edge slid out of the way.

Edge sends Seth Rollins bouncing off Hell in a Cell and through a table: WWE Crown Jewel 2021 (WWE Network Exclusive)

The Rated-R Superstar makes an impulse decision to send Seth Rollins crashing through a table inside Hell in a Cell. Catch WWE action on Peacock, WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more.

As Rollins set up on the top rope, The Ultimate Opportunist seized his moment by shoving Rollins off the post and into the cage, which sent The Visionary of Drip bouncing off the steel and crashing through a table at ringside.

After a miraculous kickout from Rollins, Edge beat him down with an Edge-o-matic on the steel steps before diving from the top rope with a chair in hand to crush Rollins.

Rollins caught Edge by surprise with a Pedigree and looked for the stomp, only to have Edge counter with a buckle-bomb and a Spear for a two-count. Stunned, Edge looked for another way to end Rollins, bringing in a ladder and a table, but he fell victim himself after Rollins countered with a sunset-flip powerbomb from the ladder to send Edge crashing through the table.

Three superkicks from Rollins brought Edge to his knees, but that was not enough for an incensed Rollins, as he wrapped his foot in a steel chain for one more vicious superkick. As Rollins looked for one final stomp on the chair, Edge rolled out of the way to hit a chair-assisted low blow.

Edge then grabbed the chain to lock in the crossface, and just when it looked like Seth was going to tap, Edge let go of the hold in search of a more satisfying ending. Instead, he flipped the script with a stomp to Rollins on the chair for the victory.
