Nearly 20,000 WWE fans packed the Philadelphia Spectrum to watch a SummerSlam rematch between Ultimate Warrior and Rick Rude — this time, inside a steel cage and with Warrior’s WWE Championship at stake. Hulk Hogan settled the score against Earthquake once and for all, “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase bought off Dusty Rhodes’ valet, Sapphire, and The Texas Tornado scored Intercontinental Championship gold against fellow second-generation Superstar Mr. Perfect. The Hart Foundation also won its second World Tag Team Title, trumping Demolition in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match.
