World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus & Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho & Alberto Del Rio ended in a No Contest
ROANOKE, Va. – Nine days before WWE Over the Limit, a Raw SuperShow tag team rematch pitting World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus & Randy Orton against Chris Jericho & Alberto Del Rio again descended into anarchy. Although this paved the way for two explosive singles contests between the fierce foursome, when SmackDown came to a close, tensions had gone from explosive to absolutely nuclear.

On the May 7 edition of Raw SuperShow, Sheamus & Orton's tag team match against Jericho & Del Rio diverged down the road to incredible bedlam in John Laurinaitis’ office. ( FULL RAW RESULTS) As a result, the General Manager of Raw and SmackDown changed the World Heavyweight Title Match at WWE Over the Limit into a Fatal 4-Way showdown. ( MATCH PREVIEW)
Four days after that decision, SmackDown began with a grueling tag team rematch between the four fiery competitors, until an all-out brawl forced the referee to call for the bell and throw the contest out completely. That didn’t stop the action, however, as all four grapplers continued to fight, both inside and outside the ring, utilizing a street fight mentality that stood as a fitting appetizer to the uncontrollable free-for-all that will take place in the Fatal 4-Way Match in nine days.
In a tweet issued soon after, John Laurinaitis’ Executive Administrator Eve announced, on behalf of the EVP, that – because the match's outcome was "unacceptable" – the four Superstars would each face one of their pay-per-view opponent in singes competition later on the show: The Viper would take on The Mexican Aristocrat while The Great White would battle the first-ever Undisputed WWE Champion.
AJ def. Kaitlyn

On two separate occasions on SmackDown, Kaitlyn tried to talk to AJ about her unhealthy situation involving Daniel Bryan. Both times, AJ responded in volatile fashion by slapping her best friend. As a result, the two Divas would square-off against each other in the ring this week.
From the opening bell, AJ attacked her fellow "Chickbuster" with uncontrollable rage, eventually capturing the win with a fierce knee to her beautiful foe’s temple.
After the match, the crazed AJ continued her assault until Bryan himself came to the ring. For a short moment, it seemed as if the submission specialist was going to make some sort of peace with his unhinged ex. That was until he informed her that he was looking forward to “moving on” to Kaitlyn once he becomes the new WWE Champion at WWE Over the Limit. ( MATCH PREVIEW)
There were probably some in the WWE Universe that thought AJ was about to strike Bryan in response to his remark. Instead, she exited the ring without a word, leaving the former World Heavyweight Champion free and clear to begin an impromptu “Yes!” chant.
Daniel Bryan def. Big Show by Submission

When Daniel Bryan cinched in the “Yes”-lock on Big Show in the climax of their explosive bout, John Laurinaitis apparently didn’t feel like waiting for the giant to tap out. Immediately after the submission maneuver was applied, WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent Relations suddenly rang the bell and declared Bryan the winner.
Following the match, the General Manager of Raw and SmackDown climbed into the ring and began to verbally tear into the giant, indicating that he did not believe the apology The World’s Largest Athlete had made after poking fun of his voice on Raw SuperShow. He went on to tell the gigantic Superstar that on the following Monday's Raw SuperShow, he expected a real apology from Show, inferring that his job may just hang in the balence.
Once he reached the top of the ramp, “Mr. Excitement” had more to say. He promised that at WWE Over the Limit, he would shock all by defeating John Cena and shake WWE to its very foundation. ( MATCH PREVIEW)
Ryback def. Heath Slater

Moments after Heath Slater got on the mic to ridicule the highly-volatile Ryback and questioned the magnitude of the intimadating Superstar's many SmackDown victories, The One-Man Southern Rock Band became the latest victim of SmackDown's up-and-coming in-ring terror. Antonio Cesaro def. Alex Riley

Since coming under the reluctent employ of John Laurinaitis, Theodore Long has been forced to do many tasks that he did not wish to do, often with humiliating results.
This week proved no different, as the former head of SmackDown was called upon to serve as the special ring announcer for SmackDown's new Superstar Antonio Casaro in his match against Alex Riley. Mr. Long proceeded to read a nearly endless prepared list of nicknames, designed to praise the recently-signed Superstar. He called Cesaro "The Swiss Sensation ... The Rugby Baller, Shot Caller ... his opponent's fright and Aksana's delight ... beating every bum in the scrum and every clown on SmackDown." But, that was just the beginning of the degradation for Mr. Laurinaitis’ “favorite” employee.
After Cesaro soundly triumphed in his first match as an official SmackDown Superstar, Aksana – sporting a stylish new look of her own – informed Teddy in front of the entire WWE Universe that that were just friends. She went on to declare that she and Cesaro were “lovers,” before the happy couple proceeded to make-out with a visibly heartbroken Teddy looking on.
Randy Orton def. Alberto Del Rio by Disqualification

For the second time of the night, Randy Orton stepped into the ring to face Alberto Del Rio, just nine days before they will battle as part of the Fatal 4-Way World Heavyweight Championship Match at WWE Over the Limit. ( MATCH PREVIEW)
Despite constant attacks on The Viper’s shoulder throughout the match, the resilient nine-time World Champion rebounded and prepared to put his crafty foe down for the three-count.
But, before Orton could attempt to close the deal, Ricardo Rodriguez leaped at him from the top rope, only to receive an RKO in mid-air for his trouble. Though this interference gave the serpentine Superstar a victory by disqualification, the opportunistic Del Rio quickly hurled his adversary into the steel ring post before applying the cross armbreaker. Although the fact that The Mexican Aristocrat wasn't able to fully lock in his signature maneuver ultimately saved WWE’s Apex Predator, the damage on Orton’s arm was evident.
WWE Tag Team Champion R-Truth def. Jack Swagger
Four days after Dolph Ziggler knocked off WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston on Raw SuperShow, his co-champion, R-Truth, evened things out against Jack Swagger. After Kofi took out the interfering Show-off outside the ring, he delivered a kick of retribution to The All-American American. This set up his partner-in-championship-gold to score the important victory with the Flatliner.
The titleholder’s triumph ties things up for the two teams at one singles win a piece, just nine days before they will battle for the tag titles at WWE Over the Limit.
During the match, Primo, Epico and Rosa Mendes were noticed watching the contest intently in the back, side-by-side with All World's flashy A.W. The charismatic agent has already gone on record stating that he will determine when and where his new clients will use their rematch clause for another opportunity at the WWE Tag Team Titles. While the WWE Universe will be interested to see when that will occur, they also may be wondering why Mason Ryan was spotted hanging with the group.
Titus O’Neil & Darren Young def. United States Champion Santino Marella & Zack Ryder

Regardless of whether they would be known as “Co-bro” or “Ma-Ryder,” the unique tag team combination of United States Champion Santino Marella and former United States Champion Zack Ryder looked ready to make an impression on SmackDown’s newest tag team combination.
That was until the explosive pairing of Titus O’Neil & Darren Young turned their hopes up-side down, emerging from all-out turmoil outside the ring to score a huge upset on their charismatic opponents with the Ghettoblaster.
After the match, O’Neil & Young celebrated by making a strong statement about being the future WWE Tag Team Champions – citing the difference between them and the rest: “millions of dollars!”

Brodus Clay def. Hunico

Although Hunico & Camacho decided to attack Brodus Clay before the opening bell, The Funkasaurus quickly roared back. After knocking his opponent’s cohort off the ring apron, the rhythmic Superstar delivered the big splash on Hunico for the win.
Chris Jericho def. World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus by Disqualification

After fighting to the ropes in order to break his foe’s Walls of Jericho submission maneuver in the height of their main event showdown, Sheamus sent the first-ever Undisputed WWE Champion over the top rope and crashing down to the ringside floor.
Moments later, Alberto Del Rio emerged, looking to make a statement as he attacked the fallen Jericho and threw him into the steel ring steps. He managed to get the jump on The Celtic Warrior, locking him in the cross armbreaker.
Randy Orton soon joined the party, seeking payback on Del Rio for their altercation earlier in the evening. But, while he fell into an argument with The Great White over which one of them had the right to attack his target more, Jericho reemerged from nowhere, delivering the Codebreaker to the war-torn Del Rio. Then Orton and Sheamus each asserted his own ground by hitting the RKO and the Brogue Kick on Del Rio respectively.

Gloriously ushering in a new era of enlightenment for which the ignorant flock so desperately yearn, Sandow has promised to elevate the simple-minded public to new heights of moral and ethical aptitude. ( WATCH)
WWE.com caught up with the stately Sandow, who was gracious enough to take a break from his isometric breathing exercises and stretching rituals. He shared some of his vast knowledge to shake the WWE Universe out of an abyss of self-imposed moral decay, to help the common ham-and-egger WWE fan avoid becoming what he feels the majority of WWE Superstars have become: complete and total ignoramuses.
If you were to look up the word “ignoramus” in the dictionary – which, unfortunately, would require mild effort on your part – you would find it means “an ignorant person, a dunce, an uncouth, unrefined individual.” With that definition in mind, the cultured and debonair Sandow generously opted to give WWE.com a few minutes of his precious time. As he replenished his energies with a revitalizing elderberry smoothie, he lamented 10 of the most prevalent ignoramuses in WWE past and present.
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin
Beer-drinking, hell-raising, authority-challenging "Stone Cold" Steve Austin forever changed the face of WWE. Few, if any, Superstars have had as profound an effect on sports-entertainment as The Texas Rattlesnake. Yet Sandow reduced Austin’s contributions to being plebian and crass, dismissively stating, “Profanity, beer and a disregard for decency and decorum. I think not.”
Mankind
It’s understandable why the dignified Damien Sandow would be less than impressed with a squealing masked madman who spends his recreational time in boiler rooms. With a sneer, Sandow summed up his views on The Hardcore Legend by bringing attention to his suspect hygiene: “The man used a fungal-filled undergarment to dispatch his opponents. Need I say more?”
Santino Marella
Not faring much better in the eyes of "The Enlightened One" was the current United States Champion, Santino Marella, whom Sandow declared, “Bilingually unintelligible.”
Ultimate Warrior
Not everyone can be as articulate and worldly as Sandow. However, that didn’t stop him from sharply criticizing the coherency and fluency of The Ultimate Warrior: “No command of the English language, or any language, for that matter. Next!”
Zack Ryder
Apparently, Sandow’s quest to enlighten has no need for “broskis” like The Long Island Iced-Z. “An example of Long Island's subpar public schools," he decried. "Expel this social media miscreant at once!” Sandow’s statement on social media is a bit odd, considering his active Twitter presence.
Dusty Rhodes
While attaching the "ignoramus" label to another WWE Legend and Hall of Famer in Dusty Rhodes, Sandow revealed himself as a bit of a neat freak: “That glutton's name rings of a dirty street not worthy of my shoe soles!”
Brodus Clay
Sandow clearly does not mince words when it comes to the lofty standards he holds WWE Superstars to, or the image he believes each should project to young viewers. That includes The Funkasaurus, Brodus Clay, of whom Sandow scoffed: “Dancing about and pretending to be a prehistoric creature is not my idea of a role model. Then again, most dinosaurs possesed pea-sized brains, so perhaps this spandex stretching simp is on to something.”
Brooklyn Brawler
Unsurprisingly, Sandow did not approve of WWE Alumni Brooklyn Brawler’s blue-collar attitude or his unkempt, tattered wardrobe: “Maybe Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan felt even more intelligent conversing with this reform school dropout. As for the shirt, please change it.”
Booker T
As confident and unflappable as Sandow appears, his thoughts on Booker T revealed that he does pay attention to the comments made about him, even if he perceives every one of those as irrelevant. “Booker T said he did not like me. At least, that's what I believe he said. I don't posses a Gibberish-to-English dictionary.” Enough said.
CM Punk
The typically loquacious Sandow required but two words to summarize in disgust WWE Champion CM Punk’s ignorance and subsequent classification as an ignormaus: “The tattoos!”
Damien Sandow would like to ask how it feels to be erudite and well-read? He sincerely hopes you can learn from his shining example and correct your numerous deficiencies.
Luckily, this cautionary list of WWE’s ignoramuses was but one of many lessons and seminars that “The Enlightened One” will hold to educate and make this world a better place for you, the WWE Universe and Damien Sandow. You’re welcome.

Big Show may be second-guessing his decision to mock the voice of Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and General Manager of Raw and SmackDown John Laurinaitis. Because of his actions, The World’s Largest Athlete finds himself at odds with both Laurinaitis and his calculating Executive Administrator, Eve.
On SmackDown, “Mr. Excitement” implied that Big Show's job in WWE will be on the line if the apology he demanded from the giant for this Monday’s Raw SuperShow isn't up to snuff. A WWE contract termination could be particularly devastating for Big Show, if you believe Eve. She stated on Raw, “Outside of WWE there really isn’t a big need for a 7-foot tall, 441-pound, 40-year-old freak.”
Luckily for Big Show, WWE.com has answered the challenge. Here are seven helpful suggestions of possible new lines of work for the The World's Largest Athlete.
Spokesman for big and tall clothing stores
Whether he’s wearing a singlet in the squared circle or a suit at the American Country Music Awards, Big Show is a plus-sized man who knows style and comfort. What better occupation is there for everyone's favorite giant than helping other large men find clothes that are both flattering and functional for any budget? Big Show would excel at this job. I guarantee it.
Bouncer
The danger of hiring a 7-foot tall, 441-pound bouncer for a nightclub or other similar establishment is not that there would be any issues making people leave; the risk would be that no one would want to enter. Big Show’s size, strength and wide array of punishing moves would make even the most reckless party crasher think twice.
Professional boxer
Big Show gave the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world all he could handle in a No Disqualification Match at WrestleMania XXIV. In fact, Floyd “Money” Mayweather needed help from his posse, numerous chair shots and, finally, brass knuckles to finally put The World’s Largest Athlete down. If Big Show dedicated himself to the sweet science and fought opponents who actually competed within the established Queensbury rules, he could be a new Super Heavyweight contender. After all, he's practually turned pro already anyway ... if you count Knucklehead, that is.
Lifeguard
Big Show’s towering height and massive strength would make him a natural lifeguard. With the ability to walk to depths others cannot – much like the Statue of Liberty in the film Ghostbusters II – Big Show could easily lift imperiled individuals out of the water and safely walk them to shore.
James Bond villain's henchman
When Eve stated, “Outside of WWE there really isn’t a big need for a 7-foot tall, 441-pound, 40-year-old freak,” she revealed herself to not be much of a James Bond fan. As long as 007 takes on villains, those villains are going to need super-sized henchmen. With years of experience battling the best and the baddest in WWE, Big Show is perfectly suited to play a massive, mono-syllabic second-in-command in the next blockbuster James Bond movie. "The name's Show ... Big Show."
Nuclear engineer
If you want an expert on nuclear energy, it's probably a good idea to start with the Superstar whose right hand is a Weapon of Mass Destruction. Wielding the W.M.D. in WWE for years, Big Show is singularly qualified to work on the forefront of nuclear research with the brightest scientific minds our country has to offer.
Controlled demolition
Whether it's the ring at WWE Vengeance 2011, or an unsuspecting AJ standing ringside during a match, Big Show has a tendency to cause destruction to whatever is around him. Instead of controlling or denying this incredible natural talent, The World's Largest Athlete could make big bucks in building removal and demolitions.
Hopefully, it won't come to this. The WWE Universe wants to see Big Show in the squared circle, and Big Show wants to continue working for WWE. However, it all comes down to his apology to John Laurinaitis this Monday on Raw SuperShow. What will The World's Largest Athlete have to say to "Big Johnny"?
