NXT Tag Team Champions The Revival vs. Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady
The history between these two tandems dates back to last October, when Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder ambushed Enzo & Big Cass before a match. The Revival ruthlessly zoned in on Cassady’s leg, demolishing the 7-footer’s knee with a stomp off the ropes. The assault left Big Cass with a sprained MCL and a bone bruise in his left knee.
When Cassady recovered, he and Amore went right after The Revival, who had captured the NXT Tag Team Championship while the big man was on the shelf. When the two teams clashed at NXT TakeOver: London last December, Enzo & Big Cass came close to capturing the titles – until Dawson to broke up a pinfall, sent Cassady into the ring post and set up Amore for a Shatter Machine off the ropes to ensure that The Revival remained champions.
However, that wasn’t the final chapter between these two teams. Recently, WWE.com obtained security footage from outside the WWE Performance Center, showing The Revival ganging up on Enzo Amore for a 2-on-1 beatdown. Luckily for Amore, Big Cass was nearby and put a hurting on Dash & Dawson before they could do any more damage.
This next battle in their bitter rivalry will go down at WWE Roadblock. Will The Revival roll on in Toronto, or will Enzo & Big Cass become The Realest Champions in The Room? Find out on Saturday, March 12 at 8 ET/5 PT, only on the award-winning WWE Network!
