Arguably the most highly anticipated bout in NXT UK history will take place Thursday as WALTER defends the NXT United Kingdom Championship against Ilja Dragunov. 

Dragunov won this opportunity back in April after prevailing in a 20-man Battle Royal to become the No. 1 Contender. But NXT UK’s hiatus forced The Mad Russian to bide his time for months before finally getting his chance against The Ring General.

If Dragunov’s return to the ring last month -- an impressive victory over Noam Dar -- was any indication, he’s primed to seize the moment. But WALTER has vowed to not only give him the fight of his life, but to destroy the man he takes credit for helping create.

The Mad Russian certainly has WALTER on his heels, as Dragunov became the first Superstar in NXT UK to pin The Ring General in a Tag Team match earlier this month. Last week, a contract signing between the two devolved into total chaos with both men destroying each other. 

Will Dragunov be the man to finally topple WALTER? Or will the indomitable champion continue his reign?
