United States Champion Sheamus def. The Miz
DALLAS — Earlier in the evening on the premiere episode of “Mizdow TV,” The Miz predicted a re-run of previous weeks when he defeated Sheamus in consecutive, non-title contests. But alas, the self-proclaimed Hollywood A-lister was unable to reprise his winning role, instead playing the victim in The Celtic Warrior’s Brogue Kick blockbuster.
The Awesome One seemed to have the United States Champion’s number heading into their Hell in a Cell title showdown, but Sheamus came up big when it mattered most, successfully defending his United States Title in a hard-fought battle.
The Celtic Warrior came ready to fight, gaining an early advantage over his Hollywood challenger. As the match progressed outside the ring, The Miz tried to take advantage of Damien Mizdow’s presence only to end up accidently striking his own stunt double.

Mizdow eventually recovered from the errant blow to provide a distraction, which The Miz took advantage of by hitting a Skull-Crushing Finale on the champion. Unfortunately for the challenger, The Celtic Warrior managed to barely kick out of the maneuver.
The former WWE Champion maintained an edge over the titleholder before making a costly mistake, climbing up to the tope rope only to jump face-first into a head-turning Brogue Kick from the United States Champion. Just like that, The Miz’s hopes for a trilogy were put to rest as Sheamus successfully defended his coveted title.
The show was not over, however, as Mizdow continued to re-enact his fallen friend to the amusement of the United States Champion and the WWE Universe. The Irish Superstar had some fun with the stunt double’s talented showing, raising The Miz’s arms to the tune of “YMCA” while Mizdow followed suit. Sheamus then delivered a second Brogue Kick to his challenger, ending the sequence with a bang.
Now that Sheamus has conquered his latest challenger, who will be the next Superstar to step up and try to claim the coveted United States Championship from The Celtic Warrior? Whomever it is, you can bet the Irish Superstar will be ready to fight.
