United States Champion Jeff Hardy vs. Jinder Mahal

United States Champion Jeff Hardy vs. Jinder Mahal

At WWE Greatest Royal Rumble, United States Champion Jeff Hardy will defend his newly won title against the Superstar he dethroned to obtain it, Jinder Mahal.

After his United States Title win at WrestleMania 34, Mahal believed that we were now all living in the U-S-J. He was half-right … except the “J” seemingly stood for Jeff Hardy. When the 2018 Superstar Shake-up shockingly moved Mahal from SmackDown LIVE to Raw, he wasn’t shy in immediately letting Raw General Manager Kurt Angle know how good he believed himself to be. With that in mind, Angle put The Modern Day Maharaja’s skills to the test, having him go one-on-one that same night against Hardy with the United States Title on the line. Ultimately, the champion’s overconfidence proved to be his downfall, and the surging Charismatic Enigma defeated Mahal to take the title.

After the contest, an outraged Mahal invoked his rematch clause for WWE Greatest Royal Rumble in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Will Jeff Hardy continue his upward momentum and retain his newly won United States Championship? Or, will The Modern Day Maharaja rebound and reassume his quest to have the WWE Universe become one nation under Jinder?

Find out at the Greatest Royal Rumble event,  today at 7 p.m. AST. The event streams live on the award-winning WWE Network with a tune-in time of 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT, and with a special, one-hour Greatest Royal Rumble Kickoff starting at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT. It will be available on pay-per-view outside of the Middle East with regional broadcast information forthcoming.
