WWE NXT results June 10, 2020: Is doomsday imminent for Adam Cole?
Adam Cole knocked off Dexter Lumis in one-on-one action, but a chaotic scene erupted afterward with Scarlett bearing a message from Karrion Kross for the NXT Champion. Elsewhere, El Hijo del Fantasma had a shocking revelation for Drake Maverick and the NXT Universe, and Finn Bálor defeated Cameron Grimes. Meanwhile, NXT North American Champion Keith Lee teamed up with Mia Yim to battle Johnny Gargano & Candice LeRae.

Johnny Gargano & Candice LeRae def. NXT North American Champion Keith Lee & Mia Yim in a Mixed Tag Team Match
The Johnny Gargano way was once again ethically questionable, but its effectiveness can't be disputed. Johnny Gargano hit Keith Lee with a slingshot DDT, which wound up with Lee crushing Candice LeRae. While Lee appeared more concerned with LeRae's condition than her own husband, Gargano capitalized by rolling up Lee for the victory.
Indus Sher with Malcolm Bivens def. Mikey Delbrey & Mike Reed
Another match for Indus Sher ended in yet another lopsided victory. From the match-opening massive big boot from Saurav to Mikey Delbrey, to the swift end with a devastating legdrop-sidewalk slam combination, Indus Sher were completely dominant.
Finn Bálor def. Cameron Grimes
With one feather in his cap already against Finn Bálor, The Technical Savage was up to the challenge of taking on The Prince a second time, but the result was different this time. While Cameron Grimes countered the Coup de Grace and 1916 DDT at early junctures, Bálor got payback for his only loss of 2020, pinning Grimes after hitting both in succession.
Dakota Kai def. Kacy Catanzaro
Kacy Catanzaro attempted a furious rally but succumbed to Dakota Kai's Go To Kick. Catanzaro's tag team partner, Kayden Carter, arrived afterward for backup when Raquel González continued the assault. While Carter momentarily fought off González, González eventually overpowered her with a massive chokeslam.
El Hijo del Fantasma revealed himself as Santos Escobar and attacked Drake Maverick
Drake Maverick requested the first opportunity at El Hijo del Fantasma's newly won NXT Cruiserweight Championship. Initially, Fantasma graciously accepted before the two mysterious masked men circled the ring. Fantasma shockingly turned on Maverick and began assaulting him alongside the two men, who revealed that they were Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza — whom we thought had been kidnaped.
The revelations didn't stop there. Fantasma, after planting Maverick with a Phantom Driver, also unmasked to reveal himself as Santos Escobar.
NXT Champion Adam Cole def. Dexter Lumis in a non-title match
It took everything Adam Cole had — plus some help from The Undisputed ERA — to finally put Dexter Lumis away. The NXT Champion pinned the black-and-gold brand's most bizarre Superstar after hitting the Last Shot, which was teed up when Roderick Strong delivered a kick to Lumis' head while Bobby Fish distracted the referee.
All hell broke loose afterward. Lumis once again locked Cole in the Kata Gatame until Strong and Fish's stomps forced him to break the hold. The Velveteen Dream hit the scene to even the odds, fighting off Fish while Lumis pursued Strong backstage.
Happy to soak in the limelight of another victory, Cole saw his post-match celebration interrupted by the presence of Scarlett, who came bearing a message from Karrion Kross. Scarlett presented an hourglass, with the falling sand perhaps representing an imminent end to Cole's reign.
