The NXT Universe has watched in horror as Lars Sullivan has destroyed one underperforming tag team partner after another in recent weeks. The hotheaded titan’s outbursts haven’t been limited to teammates, either, as No Way Jose felt Sullivan’s wrath after Sullivan was set off by Jose’s entrance music.

Fed up with Sullivan’s broken promises to not cause any more trouble, NXT General Manager William Regal announced that there would be consequences for Sullivan’s behavior. He scheduled the mammoth Superstar in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match for tonight, reasoning that because Sullivan has demolished three former partners, it’s only fair that she should have to face three competitors at once.
