Royal Rumble 1992

For the first time in WWE history, a title shot in the main event at WrestleMania was not at stake in the Royal Rumble Match, but rather the vacant WWE Championship itself. "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair outlasted Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Sid Justice and "Macho Man" Randy Savage to win the match and the title.
