Raw Recall for July 6, 2011

John Cena
 Alberto Del Rio

SAY WHAT?: PITS OF DESPAIR

"Has Vince McMahon finally gone soft? Are those famous Vince McMahon grapefruits now peach pits?"

- WWE Champion John Cena, to Mr. McMahon, during his ultimately successful attempt at having the WWE Chairman reinstate CM Punk, so the two can compete at Money in the Bank.

SHOCKER: DEL RIO GRANDE

You won't find Alberto Del Rio at the bottom of a tequila bottle, but the guy's no less a worm. Just when Rey Mysterio was set to pin R-Truth and prevail in a Triple Threat Match, the Mexican aristocrat slipped in. He locked the cross armbreaker on his not-so-amigo and scored No. 1 contender status for the WWE Championship.

Evan Bourne and Jack Swagger
 Vickie Guerrero

OUCH: CALLING IN AN "AIR" STRIKE

Since Jack Swagger likes to wrap himself in the U.S. flag, it's only fitting he was left seeing stars on the Fourth of July. The self-proclaimed "All-American American" had edged out a victory over a true patriot, Sgt. Slaughter, when reinforcements arrived. Evan "Air" Bourne flew in and delivered a dizzying strike to the insubordinate ingrate.

TAKE THAT: FROST BITTEN

"Does this cake make my butt look big?" When Vickie Guerrero insisted the WWE Universe help celebrate the birthday of her special man friend, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston mercifully interrupted. Kofi traded blows with Ziggler, who fell into Vickie and knocked her butt-first onto the frosted cake. No word yet on the retrieval of several missing candles.
