MVP is the new United States Champion — at least, according to himself.

He declared himself as such at The Horror Show at WWE Extreme Rules when Apollo Crews wasn't cleared to compete in their scheduled match due to a bulging disc.

With Crews not on hand, MVP crowned himself, swiping the title and making a swift exit. While MVP may be a three-time United States Champion in his own mind, what does this mean for the official state of the title?
