The Rock appeared on "Ellen" to discuss his new movie "Moana" and Ellen surprised him by announcing he is PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive.

He’s an eight-time WWE Champion, the biggest star in Hollywood and now, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been named PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive.

Adding yet another accolade to his inspiring career, the honor comes at a unique time for The Great One, as 2016 also marks the 20th anniversary of his WWE debut at Survivor Series 1996.

He's a long way from being The Most Electrifying Man in All of Entertainment, but The Rock certainly looks like a Superstar in the making in his WWE debut at Survivor Series 1996.

“I’ve made big sweeping changes in my career over the years, which have served me nicely,” The Rock told PEOPLE. “But I feel that the big sweeping changes that happened in my life, in my relationships, of being a dad, of being a partner, and the things that I was and the things that I am, has really lent itself to a confidence.”
