Junior, Mark Andrews’ band, releases new single

Mark Andrews is a busy man.

When the highflying Cruiserweight isn’t soaring through the air on 205 Live or competing against NXT UK competitors, he’s holding it down in the studio as a bassist/vocalist in the Welsh pop-punk trio Junior.

The band premiered its newest single, “Day of the Dead,” today on kerrang.com. The track — Junior’s first new music since 2017 — comes hand-in-hand with newly announced tour dates in intimate venues across the U.K.

“We wanted to use this single as an excuse to play some of our favorite small venues with some of our favorite bands in the U.K. scene right now,” Andrews said in a press release. “We’ve been quiet for a while, busy working behind the scenes, so we can’t wait to get back out there and in people’s faces.”

“Day of the Dead” follows on the heels of the band’s critically acclaimed “Juniorland” and a series of singles that included “Fall to Pieces,” which doubles as Andrews’ ring entrance music in WWE. Junior also played the Download Festival in 2017 and toured Canada.
