Another year, another victory for the always-impressive Boca Juniors. This year, however, Triple H and WWE made their victory even sweeter.
The Buenos Aires-based Juniors (#OtraEstrellaBoca) added another accolade to their imposing and ever-increasing resume last June, securing their status as Argentinian Primera División League champions even before they defeated Unión 2-1 in the final match of the 2016-2017 season.
The victory and the championship earned the team thousands of congratulatory messages from people all over Argentina and the world, including a certain King of Kings, who took to social media last June to offer a very special gift for the porteño team:
Congrats @BocaJrsOficial...You've fought and won...now it's time to celebrate like a #WWEChamp!#OtraEstrellaBoca https://t.co/7QPvQgxyca

Triple H followed up with another tweet on Wednesday, to show Boca Juniors and their fans the new custom title that includes side plates that bear the team logo.
That gift was well received by Boca, who intend to put the custom title on display inside the team’s trophy room, alongside their 32 National League trophies, three Argentinian Cups, six Libertadores Cups and many other prizes. (It should be noted that the “66” Triple H refers to represents the total of actual championships the team has won.) Before doing that, however, several team members – including striker Dario Benedetto – decided to enjoy how it felt carrying a WWE Championship around the team’s stadium, La Bombonera.
Boca also replied directly to Triple H as well, first to express appreciation for their new title, and to let him know that he and WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon will soon be proud owners of their own custom team jerseys, “so the festivities can go on.”
Enhorabuena on a championship season, Boca!
