By popular demand of the WWE Universe, the "Age of Orton" on Twitter began Tuesday, as Raw Superstar Randy Orton opened his official Twitter account at @RealRKOrton.

Within 24 hours after earning a WWE Championship Match against Sheamus at SummerSlam, WWE's Apex Predator opened his new Twitter account after tens of thousands of "tweets" regarding him and his Raw Triple Threat Match victory over Chris Jericho and Edge made The Viper the No. 1 most-popular trend on Twitter for more than 15 hours.

During this time, many of the WWE Universe pleaded with Orton to create his own Twitter account -- including other Raw Superstars, such as John Cena.

"CeNation. I have told Randy about the overwhelming demand 4 him on Twitter. What he does now is up to him," Cena posted Tuesday morning.  Later that afternoon, Cena tweeted, "The Viper lurks. [Orton] is seriously considering joining very soon."
