Dolph Ziggler gets attended to by the WWE medical staff after he gets cut open in his match against Sheamus at WWE Payback.

BALTIMORE — Dolph Ziggler needed 10 stitches in his forehead following a grueling battle against Sheamus at WWE Payback.

After Sheamus embarrassed Ziggler at Extreme Rules by making him kiss his arse, The Showoff came to WWE Payback with retribution heavy on his mind. Ziggler’s intention was to punish The Celtic Warrior with a ram-like headbutt, but he wounded himself instead. Even worse, he also cost himself the match.

The  laceration, above Ziggler’s right eye, disoriented Ziggler and allowed Sheamus to hit a Brogue Kick for the victory. After the match, Ziggler went to the trainer’s room to sew up his wound.
