Pete Dunne def. Tony D’Angelo in a Weaponized Steel Cage Match
The BruiserWeight lived up to his name by surviving a brutal Weaponized Steel Cage Match against Tony D'Angelo to settle the score with "The Made Man of NXT."
The bell barely rang before Dunne and D'Angelo used the unforgiving steel structure and the numerous weapons attached to it to pulverize one another in a vicious showdown. Dunne breaking a chair across D'Angelo's back was just one of the many earth-shattering impacts in a match that saw The BruiserWeight smash D'Angelo's hand in the lid of a toolbox before suffering a superplex off the top rope and having his hands zip-tied behind his back.
Both Superstars continued to endure carnage with Dunne snapping a cricket bat across D'Angelo's back before hitting the Bitter End for a two-count. Stunned, The BruiserWeight returned the favor by teeing off on D'Angelo with a crowbar and hoisting him up for a second Bitter End to earn the victory.
Toxic Attraction def. Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta in an NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
NXT 2.0 remains toxic as Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne retained their NXT Women's Tag Team Championships in a thrilling bout with Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta.
Toxic Attraction took it right to Hartwell & Pirotta, jumping the challengers before the match began, but the best friends weren't phased as the power of Pirotta quickly turned the tide. As Mandy Rose tried to give her girls an advantage, the ref caught her attempted underhanded tactics and ejected her from ringside, leaving Dolin and Jayne to fend for themselves.
With the odds now even, Pirotta began to steamroll through the champions with a double fallaway slam. A tandem sitdown facebuster nearly earned the three-count, but Jayne dove in at the last second. Jayne and Pirotta battled to the outside, where Jayne launched Pirotta into the steel steps, leaving Hartwell all alone to suffer tandem high-low kicks for the pinfall.
LA Knight voided Grayson Waller’s restraining order
Grayson Waller's attempts to have LA Knight publicly arrested backfired when Knight pointed out an important fact to "The Arrogant Aussie" and the police officers that Waller brought with him: By attacking Knight, Waller was violating the restraining order. Knight tore the restraining order in half as the cops left the arena and jumped Waller, stomping him in the corner of the ring before tossing him over the ropes and into the waiting arms of Sanga.
Carmelo Hayes def. Cameron Grimes in an NXT North American Championship Match
Carmelo Hayes grounded Cameron Grimes’ flight to the moon in a thrilling showdown for the NXT North American Championship.
After a methodical opening few minutes, Hayes caught Grimes' attempted boot on the apron and dropped him onto the mat before "The A-Champion" scissor kicked the back of Grimes' head and flattened him with a leg drop off the ropes to gain the upper hand. The two Superstars continued to dial up the intensity with Grimes taking the champion off his feet with a hurricanrana and spinning side slam.
"The Richest Man in NXT" nearly claimed gold as Trick Williams attempted to get involved in the match, using the distraction to deliver a poisonrana and a massive splash for a two-count. As Grimes set up for the Cave In, Hayes wisely rolled out of the ring and avoided a Cave In on the outside as Williams took the bullet for Hayes.
Grimes avoided disaster himself, reversing Hayes’ attempted submission, but he could not evade a colossal leg drop from the top rope as Hayes covered Grimes for the pin.
The Creed Brothers def. MSK in the Dusty Classic Final
The Creed Brothers held the Dusty Cup high, squashing MSK's hopes of back-to-back Dusty Classic Championships in a dramatic tournament final.
The Creeds used their brute strength to keep the high-flying duo of Wes Lee & Nash Carter from hitting the skies as Julius Creed shoulder tackled Lee off the apron and sent him flying onto the announcer's table. The former NXT Tag Team Champions did not stay down for long with Lee finally tagging in Nash Carter, who flew in to stun the Creeds with a series of explosive kicks and splashes off the ropes.
After a chaotic back-and-forth, Julius Creed caught Carter in the middle of a dive through the ropes, planting him onto the ringside mat before rolling him into the ring for a massive clothesline and the pin.
Solo Sikoa stepped to Gunther
Following The Creed Brothers’ Dusty Classic victory, Imperium stepped inside the squared circle to declare that it was still their ring. The trio scoffed at The Creed Brothers while Gunther made his intentions for the NXT Championship known, drawing the ire of Solo Sikoa.
"The Street Champion of the Islands" took issue with Gunther's claims, stating that you have to climb the ladder first and that he would wipe the mat with The Ring General. Sikoa stared down Imperium as he made his way back up the ramp.
Bron Breakker def. Santos Escobar in an NXT Championship Match
The target on NXT Champion Bron Breakker's back is large, but after an electric battle with Santos Escobar, there is one less challenger gunning for Breakker.
In his first title defense, Breakker ran roughshod over Escobar, forcing the head of La Familia to roll out of the ring and rethink his strategy, but his breather didn't last long as Breakker chased him back into the ring and delivered a thunderous clothesline. As Breakker rolled, the rest of Legado del Fantasma made their presence known, drawing the attention of Breakker and opening the door for Escobar to drop the champion with a dive, a neckbreaker on the ropes and a huge running knee.
Escobar continued to pummel Breakker, but he took an extra moment to trash talk, which fired up the champion. Breakker laid waste to La Familia before turning into a superkick from Dolph Ziggler for a shocking near-fall. The Showoff attempted to climb back into the ring to finish the job, but he was caught by Tommaso Ciampa, who pummeled Ziggler into the back of the arena.
With the interruption dealt with, Breakker evaded a frog splash from Escobar, spearing "The Emperor" before hoisting him up for a Gorilla Press Slam and the victory.
