CM Punk will compete in an NXT ring for the first time in more than 16 years when he challenges Grayson Waller for the NXT Championship.

Waller defeated Tony D’Angelo to retain the title at Halloween Havoc, only to be confronted by Danhausen. Danhausen revealed The Second City Saint’s video, which announced Punk's intentions.

NXT General Manager Robert Stone immediately made the match official, setting the stage for an epic, must-see NXT Championship Match.

WWE NXT airs live on WEDNESDAY at 8 ET/7 CT on the CW Network.
