WWE and Girl Up host Sports for a Purpose Forum in New York

NEW YORK – WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon, WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair, WWE Ambassador Dana Warrior and host Charly Caruso joined Girl Up Co-Executive Director Anna Blue and other influential sports leaders for the inaugural Sports for a Purpose Forum during WWE’s Evolution Weekend in New York City.

Charlotte joined a panel of elite athletes and advocates, including Girl Up Leader and NCAA softball player Alexa Zartman-Ball, Former WNBA and New York Liberty Director of Franchise Development Swin Cash, former NFL player and equality advocate Wade Davis and Women’s Sports Foundation Senior Director of Advocacy Sarah Axelson. Along with 50 New York City-area Girl Up leaders aged 15 to 17, the panel and group presentations focused on the topic “Positive Impact Sports Can Have on Girls Globally.”

Stephanie McMahon and WWE Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative, Paul "Triple H" Levesque announced the partnership with Girl Up earlier in the day on Z100's Elvis Duran and the Morning Show. The partnership is part of WWE’s commitment to empowering youth across the globe.
