Houston declares "WrestleMania Week"
HOUSTON - The week of March 30 through April 6 has officially been declared WrestleMania Week in Houston by Mayor Bill White. Four days prior to the week in tribute of the pop culture extravaganza, the mayor signed a proclamation to make the honorary days official. (See the proclamation here.)
The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania marks the second time the city has played host of the annual spectacular and the first time since WrestleMania X-Seven.
The week-long celebration includes WrestleManiArt, Fan Axxess, the WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and, of course, the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania itself at Reliant Stadium. Houston's week concludes with Raw on Monday night, broadcast live from Houston's Toyota Center.
Take a look at the proclamation here and have a happy WrestleMania Week!
