WrestleMania Axxess kicks off in Houston

With the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania just days away, the WWE Universe has descended upon Houston. Our fans know where they can get up close and personal to their favorite WWE Superstars, Divas and experience all things WWE -- WrestleMania Axxess. (PHOTOS)

Houston's Reliant Center has been transformed into a WrestleMania-themed world with WWE's largest interactive fan experience. With more than 20 attractions, thousands of members of the WWE Universe were thrilled on Axxess' electrifying opening night Thursday.

Upon entering Axxess, the WWE Universe was greeted by WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy "The Mouth of the South" Hart in the main event ring. After R-Truth defeated Chavo Guerrero Thursday evening, John Cena stopped by the ring for a rousing question and answer session. Much to the delight of the WWE Universe, the 12 Rounds star answered questions on a wide range of topics, from his car collection to his newly adopted Miniature Schnauzer, and also sang "Deep in the Heart of Texas" with the enthralled crowd of WWE fans.

Cena told the WWE Universe he's ready to earn back the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania this Sunday

"I feel pretty good about WrestleMania 25. How do you guys feel about WrestleMania 25?" Cena asked to a roomful of cheers.

In addition to the watching Cena's half-hour long Q&A, the WWE Universe was wowed by the many attractions Axxess had to offer. Our fans met Hornswoggle outside his under-ring, miniature home, which was on display under the giant, demonic Hell in a Cell cage. WWE Universe members also strolled through the spooky graveyard full of Undertaker's 16 WrestleMania victims' tombstones and took photos with the actual caskets of his past opponents.

Many soldiers from the Army National Guard were also on hand to meet the WWE Universe at WrestleMania Axxess. The Guard's exciting display featured a giant rock-climbing wall, an interactive simulator and also Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s No. 88 NASCAR Sprint Cup show car.

Divas Champion Maryse, The Great Khali, Money in the Bank competitor Kane, Jamie Noble, William Regal and Jesse & Festus were all on hand to sign autographs for our fans Thursday. Many lucky WWE fans got up close and personal with SmackDown's newest Diva, Gail Kim, and Kelly Kelly at the Diva HotShots photo station. Our fans also enjoyed the Call-A-Match booth, joining Jim Ross to call a classic WrestleMania match, as well as the Superstar Entrance attraction where they could take home a DVD of themselves reenacting their favorite Superstars' entrances.

"All this here, all these exhibits, everything we have here, is all here for you guys! So please enjoy Axxess, enjoy your time!" Cena told the WWE Universe Thursday night.

Axxess is truly the WWE Universe's WrestleMania playground and is a must-see for our fans. The excitement continues the rest of this week until the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania on Sunday. For more information on the exhibits and Axxess hours, visit:
