SummerSlam 2014 Travel Packages FAQ
Can I purchase a package without hotel accommodations?
All SummerSlam Travel Packages include hotel accommodations. At this time we do not provide an option without hotel accommodations.
What are the forms of payment to purchase the packages?
At this time, the only acceptable forms of payment are Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. If you have made arrangements for funds to be available in a PayPal account, please contact the Travel Package hotline at 203-359-5182.
When will I receive an email confirmation?
You will receive an email confirmation from the WWE Travel Package Department within 10 business days of your order. The confirmation will include further details about your order and when you should expect your travel package shipment to arrive.
Can I extend my hotel stay?
You are welcome to extend your hotel stay or reserve additional rooms by contacting the hotel directly. Requests should be made by the main traveler directly with the hotel. Each hotel will confirm the separate reservations based on availability and the traveler will be charged the regular hotel rate.
Can I purchase a package for more than four people?
No. Each SummerSlam Travel Package can accommodate up to four people sharing one standard hotel room with a maximum two beds per room.
When will I receive my tickets?
SummerSlam Travel Packages, including event tickets, will be shipped to the main traveler in July 2014, approximately four weeks prior to SummerSlam. Packages will not be delivered earlier than four weeks prior to the event.
When will SummerSlam tickets go on sale?
Individual tickets for SummerSlam will go on sale Saturday, March 15, 2014.
Are the packages refundable?
No. Payment in full is due upon receipt. All payments processed are non-refundable once payments have been approved.
Is airfare included?
SummerSlam Travel Packages do not include airline tickets.
Is wheelchair seating available?
The venue has not yet confirmed the specific locations for wheelchair accessible seating. If you require seating in such locations, please indicate the request with your order. If such seating is not available within the seating location described in your package, you will be notified of an alternate location. You will have the opportunity to accept or decline the alternate location. If the alternate location is accepted, a charge or refund will be issued to reflect the difference in ticket value. If the alternate location is declined, a full refund will be issued.
Are changes allowed to packages?
A $150 processing fee will be applied to all change requests received between June 30, 2014, and Aug. 8, 2014. Change requests include changes to main traveler’s name, shipping address, telephone and email address. Change requests will not be accepted after Aug. 8, 2014.
How are event ticket seats assigned?
SummerSlam Travel Packages are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. The assignment of the seat locations will be determined by the date that your purchase was confirmed. The specific location of the seat assignments will not be available prior to the shipment of the SummerSlam Travel Packages.
What are the check-in and check-out dates for the hotel accommodations?
Three-night hotel accommodations will be confirmed with check-in on Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, and check-out on Monday, Aug. 18, 2014.
Are there any additional costs?
The per-person prices advertised within the SummerSlam Travel Packages include all taxes plus shipping and handling charges with the exception of any additional shipping fees associated with FedEx, such as customs or duty fees, which may apply to international shipments.
How do we get our commemorative chair home?
Purchasers of the Platinum Package will receive a commemorative SummerSlam folding chair included in your package purchase. You will be responsible for transporting your chair back to your home, including any expenses that may arise from such transport. The SummerSlam chairs are the standard size of a metal folding chair.
What happens if the packages are changed?
WWE reserves the right to modify or cancel the SummerSlam Travel Packages in any way it deems necessary or appropriate. Main travelers will be notified of such changes. The main traveler will be responsible for providing this information to guests within their group. If any portion of the SummerSlam Travel Packages is modified, the modifications will be equal in value and refunds will not be issued. If SummerSlam Travel Packages are canceled, a full refund will be issued.
Are packages available internationally?
SummerSlam Travel Packages are available for purchase to both domestic and international customers.
