DX to kick it old school
This Sunday, D-Generation X will collide with Mr. McMahon and his son Shane in the most anticipated match at SummerSlam according to a recent WWE.com poll. The duo said that the fun and games will have to be put on hold while they get down to business in the ultimate contest between establishment and anti-establishment.
"DX has always been about two things and that was doing what we wanted, when we wanted to… and if somebody didn't like it, we'd kick their ass," Triple H told WWE.com. "We were doing what we wanted to, when we wanted to do it. Now Vince has made it clear to us that he doesn't want us to do that anymore, so now it's time to kick his ass."
Shawn Michaels agreed about what has to be done.
"A lot of times, people take your joy and your happiness for weakness and they made that mistake with Triple H and myself," explained HBK. "So now we're going to have to show them The Showstopper and The Game are in full fledged force together. We'll just relive those days when DX first started: when we were down and dirty and ugly."
Monday night, Armando Alejandro Estrada offered the services of the undefeated savage, Umaga, to the McMahons. While no one knows if the Samoan Bulldozer will be in their corner this Sunday, it doesn't seem to matter to RAW's degenerates.
"The fact of the matter is we're still going to come full steam ahead, full throttle," Michaels defended. "And if he gets caught up in it, he gets caught up in it; that's fine with us. But again, people have to remember we're talking about the original DX. We were never afraid of anything and that's still the case now. Triple H and the Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels didn't really get where we are at in this industry by being a couple of pushovers."
In true DX fashion, the Game had some interesting ideas on how he could even the odds this Sunday at SummerSlam.
"I'm thinking about dangling some raw meat or a live chicken," he said. "Maybe I can borrow one of Vince's roosters and hang it in the back and probably, during the match, [Umaga] will be attacking the chicken or something and we won't have to worry about him."
