AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio scored major payback on his nemesis Joe Hendry and picked up a huge win heading into AAA TripleManía.
Hendry showed off his incredible power by deadlifting Mysterio into a standing suplex and walking him around the ring before taking a swing at JD McDonagh on the outside.
That turned out to be a mistake as the AAA Mega Champion capitalized on the distraction, leading to The Judgment Day attacking Hendry in the ringside area.
The two Superstars engaged in a thrilling back-and-forth, but Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan found a way to distract the official, allowing Mysterio to hit a 619 and a match-ending Frog Splash.
Lil Yachty def. United States Champion Baron Corbin | Survive and Advance Match
Lil Yachty officially beat the clock and lasted five minutes against United States Champion Baron Corbin to secure a championship opportunity for Trick Williams.
Yachty slugged Corbin in a perfectly-timed sneak attack to begin the bout, but Corbin immediately turned the tables and tossed his opponent around the ringside area.
The match flipped when Yachty’s entourage got involved, enabling the rapper to bring out the Trick Stick, but the entourage suffered a brutal Deep Six and End of Days.
With time ticking down, Corbin hit two End of Days and battered the helpless rapper, even introducing a table to the ring.
Corbin placed Yachty on the top rope, but Yachty wisely delivered a low blow to the champion, allowing the clock to expire.
After the match, Corbin chokeslammed Yachty through the table just seconds before Williams made his epic entrance.
Trick Williams def. Baron Corbin to win the United States Championship
Thanks to Lil Yachty, Trick Williams won back the United States Championship in a hard-hitting affair.
A furious Corbin was clearly off his game as he was still frazzled from his match with Yachty, and Williams hit his signature high kicks and even a Trick Slap to the face of the champion.
In a critical moment, Corbin struck Williams with a chokeslam and a Deep Six, but the resilient former champion refused to quit.
The champion tried to grab his championship and presumably use it as a weapon, but an exhausted Yachty rose up and grabbed it to set up Trick to hit a massive Trick Kick.
Corbin still found a way to use the title, but the challenger kicked out in shocking fashion.
With one last gasp, Williams countered the End of Days to hit the Trick Shot and regain the United States Championship.
Oba Femi def. Bron Breakker via Disqualification
The battle for the future of WWE was shockingly interrupted by a returning Bronson Reed.
The two titans tested each other’s strength in the early goings, but Bron Breakker hopped out of the ring when Oba Femi didn’t fall to his massive shoulder tackle.
Breakker began building serious momentum, even flying off the apron onto Femi and sending them both tumbling over the announce table.
The Unpredictable Badass continued the assault, berating his opponent and questioning why he’s considered “the future of WWE.”
Breakker’s taunting caught up to him as a release German suplex saw Femi fire up and nail a vicious clothesline.
Austin Theory arrived to help his fellow World Tag Team Champion, but he fell victim to a massive toss through the announce table.
However, that allowed Breakker to hit two rib-cracking Spears on The Ruler, but not even that was enough to defeat him.
Logan Paul attempted to get involved, but he turned out to be a decoy as Maxxine Dupri handed Breakker a pair of brass knuckles.
After the plan failed, Reed made his shocking return to destroy Femi with a steel chair and deliver several stunning Tsunamis.
Jade Cargill, Michin & B-Fab def. Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss & Tatum Paxley | Six-Woman Tag Team Match
Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab are walking out of Atlanta with a big-time victory after a costly miscommunication between Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley.
Paxley shined early for her squad, warding off Michin and B-Fab until Cargill leveled her with a slingshot knee strike.
The four-time world champion Bliss tagged in next for her squad, but she was soon met with some serious power from B-Fab and outstanding athleticism from Michin.
Buoyed by the raucous crowd, Bliss tagged in Flair, who proceeded to clean house.
Flair didn’t realize Cargill tagged herself in, and the powerhouse planted The Queen with Sandstorm, only for Paxley to interrupt the count at the last second.
The action broke down as Paxley and Flair went for double Figure-Eight Leglocks, but B-Fab booted Paxley right into Flair.
That move allowed Cargill to muscle up Flair for Jaded to win the match in a shocking manner.
Randy Orton def. Cody Rhodes
The Viper tried to strike before the match, but The American Nightmare caught him slithering into the ring, which kicked off a major brawl throughout the crowd.
The bell finally rang, and the two bitter enemies battered each other inside the ring.
Orton gained the upper hand and even began mocking Rhodes’ wife, Brandi, at ringside, resulting in her tossing a drink in his face.
As the two Superstars continued to wage war, Orton sent Rhodes crashing into the official and hit him with an RKO, but there was no way to win the match with the official down.
The official again found himself in the crosshairs as Rhodes knocked Orton into him with a dive through the ropes after a Cross Rhodes.
No official meant no rules for the time being, as Rhodes left a nasty battle scar on Orton before hitting a Super Cody Cutter from the top rope.
A pair of Cross Rhodes allowed The American Nightmare to size up Orton for a punt of his own, but The Viper begged for mercy in a shocking moment.
Rhodes was stunned, but Orton hit him with a vicious uppercut below the belt before executing a match-ending RKO to secure the win.
