Although a sneak attack by The Miz left him unable to answer the Open Challenge from then-United States Champion Sami Zayn, Carmelo Hayes returned to SmackDown last week with a new resolve. 

Hayes' new focus did not prevent him from taking exception when Kit Wilson accused him of giving off “toxic masculinity” backstage.

Wilson's words may prove Pretty Deadly when he squares off against Hayes, Friday at 8e/7c on USA.
