Kevin Owens def. “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio to qualify for the Elimination Chamber
In a first-time matchup, Kevin Owens contended with “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio for a spot in the Elimination Chamber Match.
R-Truth came down to ringside, confusing Owens for The Miz and leaving The Prizefighter bewildered.
Owens thought he had the match finished after a ring-rocking cannonball followed by a Frog Splash, but Mysterio kicked out at 2.999.
Conversely, Mysterio thought he had the match locked up with a 619, but KO kept the match alive.
In an act of desperation, Mysterio asked R-Truth to get him a chair, trying to gaslight him into believing he was a member of The Judgment Day. Truth, however, sat on the chair instead, allowing KO to hit the Pop-up Powerbomb to enter the Elimination Chamber.
Tiffany Stratton def. Zelina Vega to qualify for the Elimination Chamber
In a battle of different strategies and tactics, newest SmackDown Superstar Tiffany Stratton locked up with Zelina Vega for a chance to be locked inside the Elimination Chamber in Perth.
Vega put up an immense fight, hitting a jaw-dropping moonsault from the top-rope to "The Buff Barbie,” who was ringside.
As Vega was celebrating her awesome maneuver, Santos Escobar and Legado del Fantasma appeared at ringside to taunt Vega.
Not to be outdone, Carlito and the rest of The LWO came down to ringside to offset Legado del Fantasma.
Buoyed by The LWO’s appearance, Vega hit a 619 to the shins of Stratton but could not gain the win.
With Elektra Lopez giving Vega a tongue-lashing by ringside, Vega took matters into her own hands, pulling Lopez over the top rope to fight her. This fracas gave Stratton the upper hand, however, and she hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to secure her place in the Elimination Chamber.
AOP def. Javier Bernal & Beau Morris
Akam and Rezar delivered a huge warning as they won in convincing and quick fashion with the Super Collider and an impressive double-team manuever.
Logan Paul def. The Miz to qualify for the Elimination Chamber Match
The last Elimination Chamber spot came down to United States Champion Logan Paul or The Miz in a SummerSlam 2022 rematch.
Competing in his first match on national television and on SmackDown for the first time as well, The Maverick looked to start his journey to become a double champion.
Continuing to expand his arsenal, Paul hit a stunning leg drop, showcasing his flexibility before flexing his muscles, but The A-Lister kept fighting.
The Awesome One’s game plan to attack Paul’s legs worked perfectly, but Paul used the ring apron to distract the referee. With the referee’s back turned, Paul raked the eyes of The A-Lister before hitting the Skull-Crushing Finale.
Somehow, The Miz kicked out and soon caught Paul in a Figure-Four Leglock.
After desperately reaching the bottom rope, the U.S. Champion had his Impaulsive buddy hand his some brass knuckles. The A-Lister intercepted his brass knuckles attempt, but the referee saw the foreign object before The Miz could use it.
Paul landed an STO to defeat The Miz again and gain his pathway to Elimination Chamber.
